Anyone on eroids into making electronic music?

anybody here into making music from home (or any computer)? if so what DAW are you using and why did you choose that one? what genre of music do you use and what synth helps you obtain the best sound for what you need and why? i am currently using ableton live with my primary synth is "massive" by native instruments.

i do alot of dubstep, house and drum and bass as of recent. just trying to get some ideas before i spend money on new software. you like that pro tools?/
I do like Pro Tools, Is everything I need. But it also depends on which version you use. They get pricey. I use the top pro version very $$$$ lol. Check this one out man. http://www.reaper.fm/download.php
fruity loops is a DAW-digital audio workstation. thats what ableton, reason, cubase, logic and all that other shit is too. i use a keyboard for my midi controller thats about as real of an instrument as i am going to get. if i were to get real instruments then i just assume start a band. lol you can record real instruments on the DAW's but i am making the music myself. i am relatively well versed in the matter i am simply trying to network within this site cuz i like it here :)fruity loops is fun to fuck around with but i never really laid any traacks with it.
Gotta get real instruments man! I use pro tools. But I don't do synth stuff. Fucked around with fruity loops a while back. But that's different.
