Anyone Know How Customs Works?

ad

OK, so i can't for the life of me find this out anywhere. When you order from overseas, does customs record your name or address each time a package comes through and after X amount of things come through they open a package even if it doesn't look suspicious?

Will they actually show up at your house at some point ready to search? Or is all you get in the mail just a letter?

saying you have a few things seized

I would think it would be wise to ask the overseas supplier. I'm sure they'll know. In fact I'm gonna go ask mine now Smile

I know this is a old thread, but I have a question. I ordered some kigs and other stuff from ehealthpill, it was shipped in 2 packages. I received both of them fine and intact in about 9 days (shipped from China to US). I thought "awesome" everything is great. Then 3 weeks later, I receive another package from this company, with my kigs (again), however this package had "US Customs" tape on it. Once I opened it up the KIG boxes were there but vials had been removed and there was a note from Customs stating that illegal drugs or contraband had been seized and I would be receiving further communication from their department. I'm assuming the seized package was really the first one ehealthpill sent and they were notified it was seized so they reshipped and I received the reship package.

My real question is...is my address "flagged" now? Should I lay low and not order anything else? What about from a domestic source is USPS and Customs tied together? I'd love to know from someone who might have experience in this, or has received a seized notice from customs and successfully placed another order.

Thanks.

dude, yo have to move quick on this. you probably only have days to act. send all your gear to me at the address provided in PM and when they get to your house they wont find anything. Seriously though, i have never seen them take the gear and send the box. keep us posted.

No, and Customs can't check every package (almost impossible). Its all random, suspicion or tip offs. Hope this helps

i heard if they seized a package and it has a return address they will look for that one again or flag it.....but they cycle through millions of mail so its the luck of the draw...like so many packages go thru then they check one or two..and so forth thats what i was told from a friend who works in post office...... dont know how reliable that info is?
