I have an '06 636. They quit making them for a few years but just started again, was thinking of getting a new one. Anyone been on the 2013 yet? Or if you ride what are you rolling around on?

I have a 09 Cbr 1000rr..... Lots of power and turns heads but just doesn't compare to the way my 08 zx-6r rode. Loved the Kawasaki! It's a shame I had to wreck it. My next bike will be another Kawasaki. The Honda just isn't the same bike.

You mean the little patch? Some of the local sport bike clubs have hundreds of members, wear the same style of vest when they hang out. Difference in sport riders is that on average we actually wear gear that protects us, all a vest does is make it easier to drag a body out of the traffic lane lol. We've shut down entire interstates in Dallas to Stunt in the past, quite the good time...
636 dominated... Short of the 750gsxr you couldn't match it. New 636 has great reviews... I would say swing it if you can afford the 10k sticker. I'm running a 2009 ex650r right now due to my recent wreck. They classify the 650r as a cruiser which makes the insurance dirt cheap.
How's the bottom end on the 636?? My zx10 doesn't really do much until 10k rpm or so.... Then it gets really violent. But down low ... It's not there so much.
Thing came with an ohlins on it but it was weak... I had ohlins re-valve it to actually work. When those revs get up it wants to shake its head.... It's CRAZY light.

I'm rockin a '11 Busa and an '11 zx10R ... It's got traction control on it but honestly... Never had it kick except once on a hot ass day and the ground was melting!!! The thing was literally shredding the tar off the ground and it kicked in hard core !

I have an 05 636, i have put 8,000 miles on, before that i had an 04 636 that i put 23,000 miles on. i love my 05. i got it for $3500 a few years ago. It only had 1,000 miles on it. The new one is hot tho. Just too much $

BirmonYeah, it's a lot for the 2013s. $3500 for only 1000 miles that's a smokin' deal! I had someone last year offer me $6k and it's got 10k miles on it. I'm sure the value went down now they started making them again though

BirmonIt's a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. I like those older Vmaxs, one of those cult bikes. Can't beat them, go forever.
Those newer v-max's are kinda sweet too but they priced them way the hell too high... So I said hell no! plus they're tall bikes and I'm a six footer!!
