Toooo much!

ad

I'm a 30 yr old female whose worked out on and off forever. I've always done cardio mostly. Which now doesn't make a lot of sense to me because I've always been pretty skinny. I've recently started lifting only. I do whatever the hubby does at the gym now. I'm trying to gain muscle and tone everything. I've def seen the gains in the last 4 months. I could hardly bench press the bar when I started now I'm up to 105 lbs about 5 times on my own. Okay, now to my questions... My hubby stays on me about not eating enough. He eats every 3 hours no matter what! I on the other hand just can't make myself consume all that food when I'm not hungry. I do understand that my body needs this to grow. My question is... Is there anything I can take to supplement a few meals?I do a protein shake in the mornings and one right after the gym in the evenings. Days I do give in and eat exactly like he instructs I feel miserable and sick after about my third meal by lunchtime! Lol. Please help me here! There has to be another schedule that would fit me better. Also, any small meal ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hope you dont mind if I comment in here! lol i was just curious to what questions were brought up in a ladies lounge lol!! ANYHOW!

First off what are your meals currently like? what do you eat... youll want to get into all this with a good amount of detail if you truly want the best advice for you!
how much do you weight,
how tall, possibly your BF% if you know it,
and id be curious to what your routine actually is, and how intense you would say it may be for you! not a pro lifter, but for your self... how many sets, reps, time in-between...
Do you no longer do cardio AT ALL? or do you still implement it in your routine? But hey youve more than doubled your your bench weight haha which is awesome! what kind of results have you gotten so far? First things first, whats a typical week of nutrition looking like for you, and you on any supplements? if so, be detailed with what.. those are all something that would help choose whats to be takin in.
seems like youve got many people in here ready to put you on the right track in the ladies lounge hahaha thats bad ass! why I love this forum. good people!

I have a hard time eating 1500 cals a day, I'm never hungry. I have grown to love fish, two pieces of cod (each the size of a deck of cards) packs in 50 grams of protein. Same for salmon, flounder, ect. I've never been a fan of shakes, or fish lol but I love fish now.

Star.. first off.. welcome. Second, Nothing will replace the advantages of food intake. supplements are not going to provide what the body needs. Eating every few hours in the beginning can be very hard however, once you get into a routine of doing it you will fine that your body will begin to notice when it's time to eat... like clock work. I see that you are doing everything your hubs does and honestly I do the same. However, food intake will not be the same I would suggest starting off with something simple.. and eat as much as you can and don't worry about the rest. In the beginning I would have egg whites, oats and banana in the morning, chicken and sweet potatoes, Spring Salad and chicken, chicken and red potatoes and finally fish and broccoli. Now when I started I couldn't eat but just four or five bites each time.. but as time went by... (Three weeks maybe) I was up to eating almost the entire container. I noticed that I actually got hungry at the exact time I was suppose to eat. Also, I burnt every bit of it off.. so don't worry about it adding extra pounds because it won't. I personally stay away from protein shakes and things of that nature.. but that's just me.

I have the same issue. Especially drinking so much water or anything at all. I try to just eat clean. Lots of chicken. You will like anavar. I just got of my first cycle of anavar.

He is right about eating about every 3 hours and I know it is hard. What are the macros you are trying to hit like protein/carbs/fats? I have found that the "cleaner" I eat, even on a bulk, I stay hungrier throughout the day. So staying away from pre workout shakes and dairy and all other kinds of foods that make you bloat. Also I don't know your schedule but, once I got serious about the bodybuilding/fitness game and got into the routine of eating every 3 hours, my body eventually adjusted and now if something comes up where I miss a meal....I get insanely hungry O_o but DON'T convert to weight gainers.

I'm so new at this! I'm reading all I can to figure out exactly what it is my body needs to grow. I take his word on everything because he's huge and experienced. I do know he try's to fill me full of protein! I will be starting a cycle of anavar in about a month. So I know I have to get on a schedule quick fast and in a hurry. I do know I've been mixing my protein with about a glass of milk. So that could be part of my bloating and feeling full for a few hours. I'm at home all day so I could easily get on a routine. It's just so hard to force feed myself.
