New to Anavar, Need Adivce

ad

Hey, my boyfriend directed me here to get some more advice because he says this is where I can get the best possible advice. I am thinking about stating a cycle of anavar but I want to make sure that my training and diet on point. I have read about Anavar and I am aware of the side affects and I believe it will help me reach my goals. My boyfriend got me GP Oxan from a reliable source. 10mg X 50

I am 25
130 lb
5'4"
about 25% BF

I am eating around 115g of protein, 165g carbs, and about 30g fat.
averaging around 1250 cals a day.
I do take creatine, amino acids, as well as daily vitamins. I am also severely lactose intolerant, so my protein powder is isolate only.

My training:
3X8 for various workouts a day, usual for 45min-1hr at max weight
Day 1: chest/tri , run half mile at 6mph
Day 2: back/bi s, run half mile at 6mph
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Shoulders, run half mile at 6mph
Day 5: Legs
Day 6: Rest

I cant do squats with heavy pressure on my shoulder because of a nerve injury. but I have been doing hack squats on a machine and leg press. Also exercises like dips irritate the nerve because I cannot hold up my body with my shoulder muscles, too much pressure on the joints. But things like bench press I am fine with. Would appreciate some advice on this.

I am currently working on running for longer and sometimes run closer to a mile. I would like more endurance.

I would like to have a six pack by the end of summer and dead lift 200lb by the end of October, I currently lift 155lb. I want to look fit, more defined. I don't necessarily want bigger muscles but I do want stronger, more defined muscles. I would like to be 15-17% BF, Great ass and core lol ^_^

I want to get everything down before I start Anavar. Really appreciate the help and can't wait to hear back!

This is all super helpful!

I agree with littletigar24... Trying to gain muscle or get stronger at the same time you are trying to cut just doesn't work. Myself, because I like to stay and look lean, I would suggest loosing the weight first and get down or near your desired bf. (My diets are 160g protein, 100g carbs, 45-55gfat one week and then lower the protein up the carbs the next and this is a 1500cal diet for cutting). I would add more cardio, a lot more personally. If I'm cutting I do circuits with 15, 60sec sprints on the tread mill between each set or 30-60min steady on non lifting days or first thing in the morning.
Once you hit your desired bf or close to it - up your calories and concentrate on adding strength, add in the Anavar at this point if you'd like but understand it does "thicken you up". I cut cardio out other than 30-45min of slow cardio on off day's and lift at max and add in drop sets. Hope this helps... I'd guess of few others with much more knowledge will chime in soon. Good luck!

I think it would take me some time to work up to running for that long. I think a less daunting goal for me is 20-40 mins by the end of summer. If you have some suggestions on how to add more protein to my diet, I am all ears! Sometimes it is hard for me to drink a bunch of protein shakes. Swimsuit season is coming up and I do want to look good but I also want to get the most out of my anavar. I am super excited to try it!

everything everyone has said here really is spot on ... keep in mind that running does not discriminate between fat and muscle and it will chew up muscle more quickly than fat .... you need low intensity aerobic training to burn fat not high intensity anaerobic training which burns muscle... the big point here is that if you are using anavar you will not be able to do cardio other than some walking and possibly slow jogging if that .. anavar is a cardio killer...

I agree with what Drock said below. I don't use protein shakes, real food only. Send me a friend request and I will send you some of my diets that were written by a nutritionist that specializes in dieting people for shows. They are tailored to my body but I think it will give you an idea on how and when to eat things.

Salmon. Tuna, talapia, chikn breast , extra lean red meats, turkey....all good for adding proteins into the diet. I would suggest to ditch the shakes also ( post workout only) .you want to spark the matabolism into using food as energy, so 5 or 6 small meals per day ( at the correct cal intake) ..
1250 cals is to low...your body may be in "starvation" mode with this low of food intake..thus storing a good portion as fat...again, small meals every 2.5-3 hrs will get your system Burning that food as fuel, stimulating fat loss.
From your stats your tdee is 2000-2100 cals, I would suggest 1700 cals at 40 p 35 c 25f for starters...stick with these nubers for three weeks and adjust untill weight loss is no more than 1.5-2lbs per week. Tracking your foods ( myfitnesspal) will help greatly!
Weight / fat loss is all about nutrition and exercise......period. Anavar or any other Aas is not the answer.

I love My Fitness Pal! It had been asking me to add another app to track my workouts. Do you use that? Is it worth downloading?

No I don't use it except for the nutrition app...guess I'm old school with my notebook n pencil haha....

Hi, welcome to the community!! First of all, really nice write up on yourself! People don't seem to understand how very crucial this is to giving any kind of advice, especially on something that can be so varied and altering.
So your goals...they seem a little counter productive...you want to be strong, but you want to be at a body fat the is low enough that is will actually be counter productive to your strength..see how these can work against each other? 200 lb deadlift is a very attainable goal, but it will take some patience and consistance. To me, for strength gain, your calories look too low. If you add anavar, will your strength go up at this calorie level, yes. Will you get a six pack for summer? No. Your calorie level is already low to cut calories for fat loss, so if you have reached a point that you have stopped losing fat, your body has reached a point of efficiency with the few calories you have given it. Anavar will keep the muscle you have, if you cut calories further, but your stregth will not increase much. And trust me, cutting calories at 1250, suuuucks.
I think, in my humble opinion, you should try bumping your calories up in a steady increase, concentrating on heavy heavy rep ranges and build your strength and base for a solid amount of time. If you do this slowly, your body will get use to having more calories to work with and will in turn, build muscle and increase your strength. If you still wanna cut for summer, it will be much easier for you to do at a higher calorie intake. Just my two (this is alot so maybe four) cents.

Thank you! I appreciate your response. At 1250 cals I am still loosing fat, but like you said not gaining as much strength. As per your suggestion I was thinking about adding about 250 cals every two weeks until I hit 2000. I would like to be eating more protein but I am having trouble adding more to my diet. If I do this and add anavar after I am comfortable at 2000 cals, do you think I will be able to at least lower my BF by the end of summer? I still want to look good for swim suit season, so I would love your advice!

I have been lifting for about two years but there was a three month break each winter because of personal crisis.

I am also planning on starting to run more, adding a 1/2 mile at 6 mph every week or every other week. I reached my goal of a mile this week!

Do I think you can lower your body fat at the end of summer after you have built up your calories? Yes. Is anavar going to help you lean out? No. This is where the common misconception lies. If anything, you would put the anavar to best use when you are building your strength. Because it is a steroid, used to build muscle. I have actually had a harder time dropping weight while taking anavar. You have been in a fat burning mode now for a while and I think your body would respond exceedingly well to a strength building program without even needed the anavar, I don't think you have maxed out what your body is capable of. What the body can do with proper fuel is incredible!
When the time comes to lean out, you might try switching up your cardio too. While running and distance is a great motivator, you could really shock your body into some fat loss with some plyo, some biking, stairs, sprints, ect. But def build your calories up first, I think a steady increase is a great idea, I wouldnt stop yourself at 2000, slowly increase untill you can't anymore without gaining fat. Then your metabalisum will be at its peak which is prime for then going into fat loss! Then yes, I think with some added cardio sessions you can look great in a swim suit Smile
As far as protein, I'd make sure your carb and fat sources are high protein as well, like beans, quinoa and veggies like kale and brussel sprouts. Almonds are a higher protein as well as chia and hemp seeds. You might consider like a hemp protein power as well, but like Drock said, keep to as much real protein as you can. Research some vegan protein ideas and I think that will really help.

I guess this is a longer term goal than I was thinking, which is totally fine! I think I will prioritize strength and work on cutting next summer once I have built up a bit more muscle and strength. I definitely don't want to gain more fat this summer, and what I think I am hearing is that if I eat the right things and calories are balanced with my metabolism I shouldn't. I think I will steadily increase my calories and work on eating several small meals throughout the day (Love My Fitness Pal! been using it for a year ^_^) and once I am comfortable start Anavar.

Foods that I usually eat throughout the week are eggs, chicken, tilapia, (sometimes pork but I find it can be too fatty for my stomach) rice, noodles, (sometimes potatoes), and veggies from costco (usually broccoli or the stirfry blend). We prepare our meals for the week, so I will have to do some reworking of my old plan, but should be fun! I would love to add some almonds or other good snacks. What are some that you eat?

Do you think if I still run a mile-mile and a half 3-4 days a week it will work against Anavar, or is that an okay amount? I do not want to stop running completely.

I am also interested in how Anavar will affect libido. I know its different per person, but does it generally decrease, increase or not change?
