New and looking for advice. Be gentle!

ad

Hi kodiak girl and everyone. I have been an avid reader of the ladies lounge and love it. I sent you a friend request kodiak and hoping I can get some advice. I'm new to all of this. Any and all comments and suggestions are welcome. I'm a athlete in every sense of the word played college basketball at a division one level. Competitive triathlete and in all honestly I give it 110% percent every single day trying to make myself better. I have been a avid lifter for 6 years. Circuit training, heavy low rep. Lighter high rep. I have done it all. I also love to research and learn about nutrition , lifting etc. I have a nutritionist on staff that I meet with every single week. I get weighed, caliper pinched and a new plan. Depending on the year and goals the diet is consistently changing. I do not cheat. I do not half-a%^ anything. I eat to plan and my husband and I have a cheat meal once a week. Nothing dramatic. With it being summer my workouts are crazy intense. 5 days a week lifting. Cardio everyday 30-45 mins. 1 day a week outside cross training, cardio, boot camp style. My life is very active. But here I am stuck at a plateau. Weight may fluctuate 2-3 pounds but I always settle around 150 lbs regardless what I do. Regardless what my diet is. Low carb low cal. High carb high cal. Doesn't matter. I'm so frustrated. I ask women at the gym who obviously are more educated then me on certain aspects and all they say "i eat 6 times a day with egg whites" I'm like come on. I know I'm ranting but I would just like to know if I were to run a cycle of Anavar what could I expect? Yes I have read everything on here about cycles but I'm wondering how many calories I would eat while on VAR? What I could expect my body to do on it as far as functionality? I'm a engineer by school and very analytical. If I was to go on a cycle o fvar and continue the regime I am doing. Would I gain a ton of weight? Would I look leaner and stronger if I continued with the cardio. Look more solid? How many calorie diet/ or macros would yield the best results. I'm determined to change my body. It just seems not matter what I do it reverts back. Here are my stats
31 yes old. Female
Extremely active lifestyle
Lift 6 days a week/ hitt training/ marathon training/ endurance training
5'9
150lbs. Regardless what I do!!!!
15.2 percent body fat (that's a caliper test, who knows if that's right!!!!)
Extremely clean honest diet.
I'm having my hormones tested Tuesday to see if I have low T or a thyroid issue.
I just don't understand if I'm working out hard consistantly why I can't change.
I want to look feminine, but ripped with good muscle, hard looking but not overally huge. Still want to compete as a athlete.

Please be gentle and nice this is the first time I have ever been on or done a post on forum. I really appreciate any and all comments. Thanks for your time on this.

Sorry maybe I didn't communicate the best. I would like to use the mass I have which is good and tone it and make it more solid. More muscle pop

How exactly do you plan on gaining weight with so much HIIT and endurance training and a clean-as-a-whistle diet? Have you tried cutting cardio completely and upping the cals by any means necessary? I'm on no cardio and eating over 6,000 calories a day right now, because I've found that's what I have to do to gain weight. Find what works for you, without the drugs first, THEN add the drugs if you still want to go that route. If what you're doing isn't working now, anavar won't magically make it work. Dig?

Agree! You have to rest more, your muscles do not have time to recover, fix your diet first, eat enough carbs, fat. Find what works for you because we are all different, what is good for me maybe will not work with you. And rest-eat-train-sleep. Repeat:) When you will find the balance you can start use drugs Smile

From what I read and once you speak with grrl you will get one of the best answers you can but it sounds to me like your trying to gain mass but are doing a whole lot of cardio. It almost sounds like your burning everything off. In a man you need to gain some fat to gain some mass it doesn't have to be a massive amount but you might want to tone down the cardio and increase your weight training to beat the plateu.

When it comes to var speak with grrl when you get a chance. There are other ladies on eroids that are also knowledgeable.
Wish you the best
