Hormone levels and muscle building in women 40-50's

ad

Hello! Has any women in their 40-50's experienced lower estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels that their muscle building ability is not what it used to be? I'm 47 and have not quite experienced any perimenopause symptoms, but I'm concerned when "the change" occurs, and as hormone levels decrease, that it'll be more difficult to gain muscle mass naturally. Wondering what other women have done (i.e. HRT) or experienced in this age group to keep up with their goals.

Here is an idea, I know women's hormones changes constantly, but why not get baseline numbers( progesterone, estrogen, testosterone) prior to peri and menopause. Then once things start to change rerun them again. I know women that go to hrt clinics and women that work directly with compounding pharmacists to get their numbers dialed back in once symptoms appear. Keep in mind these are not body builders but just everyday women, so I dont know how it affected their lifts, but their quality of life improved greatly.
