mr_fishsticks has entered the building
ad
Hey everyone - I'm new to the forum and this topic in general. I'm on t-cyp 150mg EOD and hcg 250iu EOD which is being managed by one of the online men's health places. Looking to spread my wings.
I'm excited to learn from the community and, I hope, give back as I gain more knowledge and experience.
Recently, I've been spending my days refreshing CENSORED's website and snatching up home gym equipment that becomes available. Just because you have an in-stock notification set doesn't mean you'll actually get notified when they restock something. Damn... giving back to the community already.

TronLet me ask you this, man. So I understand this is an introduction and you have "entered the building". Good for you. I'm very proud of you for that. So what are you trying to accomplish here? You say you've never really worked out that hard and you never really have paid much attention to your diet. And you're pinning 150mg of Test C EOD. Do you have a goal?
Oops. That should have read 150mg a week pinning 50mg (.25ml) EOD. I'm not on TRT for muscle gain, though it has occurred to me that it could help with that in larger quantities. Hopefully the correction of my error changes the tone of this conversation.
I'm proud of you for being proud of me. Your words of encouragement mean a lot to me.
I'll say that outside of my college days, I have not had the mentality that I'm going pack on a lot of muscle with the workouts programs I have followed, though I clearly don't know the fundamentals to do so if that had been my goal. That's one reason I'm here.
I never said I didn't pay much attention to my diet, but I acknowledged that I have never had a goal of eating to build muscle. I eat healthy, whole foods, just not a lot of them. I was 195 six months ago when I had a blood test that showed my lipids were off the chart (mostly hereditary - they've been very high my whole life). I started running a lot but I didn't change my diet very much, though. Lbs have been shed.
This forum seems to be about and for people that want to build muscle. I obviously want to do that. I don't have a specific goal yet because I think goals should be achievable. I'm trying to learn the right way it's done to see what level of this I can commit myself to.
TronBro id sure hate to be on your trt...I just cant imagine jabbing myself with a needle EOD for the rest of my life. you're like a human pin cushion. Or a human voodoo doll owned by a witch doctor with A.D.H.D.
I guess you react to pain differently than me. A 30ga needle subq can barely be felt, and so far this life-long commitment seems to be worth it. Of course, I have only been doing it since mid-March. Taking HCG, so if I don't like it I'll go back to life as I knew it.
I weigh 187 in the morning now. Eating a lot and supplementing with zero/low carb protein powder... total of around 3,500 calories a day. Seems like I'm gaining back some lean muscle and not so much in my ass an gut. Working out harder and more often thanks to home gym equipment and research on good workouts.
We'll see how the next few weeks goes and if I need to make any changes.
New to this and still learning and making mistakes. Glad to know there are people here that support people like me.
TronYou like fish sticks?
I don't like them. I love them. But... I'm talking about custom fishing rods. I bet you're thinking of the Gorton's fisherman.
A: So do you like fishsticks?
B: Yes.
A: Do you like putting fishdicks in your mouth?
B: Yes.
A: Then what are you? A gay fish?!
They say it quick the second time so it still sounds like fishsticks when they answer yes for the second time.
Got to love South Park! Watch that episode its worth it...lol

Lmao! They could actually play that on the radio. With the auto-tune on the lyrics it sounds the same as his other songs. Forgot how funny it was that he was the only one in the episode that couldn't get the fishstick joke.
TronI want to change my eroids name to "My Dixie Wrecked"
I like my ugly stick's.
AnonKnowing Tron, I would assume he's referring to South Park. Gay fish.
TronWhy in the Hell would you go and ruin my joke like that? I was setting him up for it perfectly. I don't like you anymore Tbone.
AnonLmao yeah yeah yeah see you tonight babe.
AnonStats
Age: 47
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 175
BF:
Holy shit man! You gonna start eating then??? I'm assuming by "spread my wings" you mean pack on some muscle?
With your hormones being optimized you should be able to gain muscle finally!
Good luck!
Yah... i definitely need to start eating for muscle growth. My workouts need to be optimized for that goal, too.
So is the vertical diet I'm hearing about worth following? Other ideas?
Thanks!
There are these curls that you can do that only require you to lift a few ounces at a time while using a fork
AnonThere's so many ways it's rediculous. There's a whole section here devoted to weight gain.
Id start by counting your calories and macros for a standard week and see where you're actually at.
You'll be surprised at how few calories you're getting I'd assume
Being skinny at 6'2 and almost 50 sounds like you're not eating anywhere close to enough.
Tronsome would even say there's so many ways it's ridiculous.
I noticeably gain weight in my gut and butt when I eat a lot of calories. Probably have never worked out hard enough to make good use of calories, and I'm going to try to do that now. I don't have a great plan for diet and routine yet, but I'm working to identify.
