+ 2 Hi guys, I’m here to read a ton and learn from the best!

ad

42 years old, 2 amazing daughters in elementary school. Primary hypogonadism, LH was cranking almost above reference range and free T was at 7pg/mL bottom of reference range. Balls failed.

I’ve been working out super hard and consist the past 3-4 years, wondering why I wasn’t seeing much visible lean mass gains.

I’m 197lbs at 69” so too fat to start gear, but I was dying from primary hypo and had to start TRT ASAP. Been hypo my entire life most likely.

I’m on Tirzepatide in a recomp. Going to stop focusing so much on building muscle for now until I can cut a deeper deficit and lose this weight. I’m at 160-200g protein/day, whole food exclusively.

I CrossFit/HIFT 5 days week M-F, lift at least 3 days/week. Working on a faster mile run, I’m jogging it at 7:30 now, trying to get under 7 min. Got a garage rack/functional trainer etc so I spend my free time in there. I’m on TRT through my PCP 150mg/week. My levels most recently were 233 Free, 1033 Total.

I’ll get full labs mid-October. Starting HCT was 43.5, hemoglobin 14.5, Estradiol 19.6, LH 8.5, all lipids and other markers in range besides extreme low ALKP (18). starting Total T was 476 (up from 344 thanks to working out and better sleep), and as I said, starting Free T was 7.5pg/ml!
SHBG 46.5 start, now it’s 34.5

So I’m here to soak up as much as I can, so when I do get to 12% body fat I’ll know what to do. It takes me months of reading to really get a decent understanding so I’m starting here early so I can hit the ground running.

For gear, I’m mostly interested in (at least now knowing so little), NPP and Primo. I desire longevity over size so I will most likely stick with TRT only but I’ll decide once I hang out here enough and get the body fat under 14%. Maybe you guys will change my mind. Or I’ll high tail it the hell out, I dunno!

I probably won’t post much since all of my questions have most likely been answered on the forums here, but I may bounce a few questions here and there or give words of encouragement or reviews.

Thanks for offering this platform and thanks for having me

Welcome! There's a ton of invaluable info if you look for it. But don't hesitate to ask questions. For sure use discretion with whom you take advice from, as not everybody acts responsibly here. Read enough and you'll see what I mean. Yet, there is no shortage of guys that love to share what they do know. You aren't putting anybody out by asking questions. Just ignore the testosterone (and trenbolone) fueled responses from some of these guys. This is a steroid review and educational site, so you'll have them. Other than that, again, welcome brother!

Thanks man! Haha, Sounds good, I’ll use a discerning eye while perusing.

I’m on the Levitra side of 50 and have joint problems but I have found that the assault bike helps me keep a high heart rate without the pain that other cardio causes. I look forward to getting on a pushing myself.

I would forget running, just get in a couple hours of zone 2 cardio per week. I prefer Incline treadmill. Running is rough on the joints and not necessary to cut. Obviously if you enjoy it, go ahead, but not necessary.

I was just thinking why my ankle is sore and my knees. It’s from running the damn mile in CrossFit. I just do what they tell me there though it’s mostly to get my cardio in or else I won’t do any.-- thanks for the tip! I’ll prioritize mechanical tension over the running.

Yeah as a 43 yr old man 100% agree with incline walking over running.

Haha Damn, you’re making me feel old! I actually just picked up a free life fitness Summit trainer. It’s like 20 years old, but it’s pretty cool. Definitely gets you sweating quick.
