+ 1 Hey Guys!

ad

Hey guys. My name is Phil. I'm 41 years old and I have been working out my entire life but I first joined an actual gym and started getting serious about lifting at about age 17. I started ignorantly dabbling in anabolics at the age of 19. My friend Eric and I used to watch the old Pumping Iron documentary constantly and we became obsessed with the sport of bodybuilding and the different PEDs that were involved. I had a really hard time gaining any weight after a certain point and I felt like I was stuck at that point and couldn't tip the scales no matter how much I ate or how strong I got. Thats when i ignorantly did my first low dose testosterone cycle and although it was only a small amount and my dosing was totally wrong and uneducated I immediately started seeing insane performance gains in the gym and my strength went through the roof.
I am an example of what not to do. I learned everything the hard way. I wasn't until I had already started dabbling with some random gear one of the local juicer guys gave us at the gym that I really started to research the compounds and learn about each individual steroid. I became immediately obsessed with the entire process. I self educated obsessively until I had everything pretty much memorized. I was always an intelligent person with a mind for biology, biochemistry, chemistry and physiology. It wasn't until much. much later in life that I pursued a degree from McMaster University in Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am not a nurse not for my own personal reasons but the point was that I received the high level sciences that are required to compete in that profession and my knowledge of the human body tied directly into my bodybuilding and my steroid use.
When i stated really training at 17 I was about 120lbs and the biggest i got comfortably is about 220 but I competed in classic physique here at a regional show in 2018 at 182lbs cutoff weight. Now that I'm older and have suffered many injuries over the years (all work related or outside of the gym) I have been forced to listen to my body and train much smarter rather than the way that I used to train which I guess would be called 'power bodybuilding' very much prioritizing heavy squats, deadlifts and bench presses. This training style served to build me a very solid and powerful foundation but I do not push those heavy numbers anymore and rather train more of a circuit or giant set style of training for different body parts depending how I'm feeling that day.
Currently I am taking a blend of testosterone esters, EQ, anavar, cardarine, bpc157 (as needed), tb500 (as needed), and 2-3iu of gh each day fore bed. Im more interested in staying healthy, mobile and being able to show up and do the reps after all of these injuries than being huge these days.
i have tried everything over the years and like I said, I have learned everything the hard way. I am hoping to share over 20 years of knowledge with the community and keep an open mind to learning new things from all you guys as well.

Thanks

Phil
