Me personally I'm here for the knowledge aspect of the site.Big fan of the golden age of bodybuilding in the 80's when Arnold and stallone all those guys were at their prime.When things were based on knowledge and work ethic and aas was used to aid in obtaining Greek God like physiques not "Built" on them my father left when I was younger he was a bodybuilder so growing up I always had a passion for it hoping having something in common with my dad would help me grow close with my pops and it did I am grateful for that just saying I think it's wrong to base all "newb" to be assholes or trolls based off the immaturity and lack of knowledge of others...Eventually they will learn if they are serious quotes that I lived by everytime I got discouraged "Rome wasn't built in one day" "if it was easy everyone would be doing it" but just know your advice does not fall on deaf ears thanks for the time you take for your post people like ME do appreciate it

I was going to make a similar post about all these new members, they order and start bitching a day later on the si talking bout I think I got ripped off and it's happening on a unprecedented level. Nobody even talks about gear anymore on these si's. Pretty sure their 18 yr old's or younger. Can anything be done?

Im a member on some biker forums. those forums require you to fill out some stats, and than require approval before posting. also must be a registered member after approval for at least one week and the first several posts need an admins approval to post. this would weed out 90% of the BS, not many trolls would wait a week just to troll.

Unfortunately we all knew this would come with the insurgence of Bostin an Piana videos. Then there's the gym dealer that gets his info from those videos playing the telephone game with his education on the subjects.
Myself, I don't see anything broken. The message is always consistent. Be safe and don't be a dumbass. That's one of the things that make this a truly great place.

It would be grand if we could just keep our smaller group of regulars, but then we would also get bored pretty quickly as well. Think of some of the members that we weren't to sure about or just plain didn't like that over time proved to be pretty solid guys. There have also been several that even got banned a dozen times before they settled down and became solid eroids members, (looks over towards Flash) lol.

You guys are really doing a great job of keeping it real with the noobs and guys that think they are advanced that really are not. There will be men you just cannot reach, but there are legions more that you will reach and there will also be legions that read your words that never post a word here. We have to keep all of that in mind when we get bummed out. I think Viking said similar down below. And when we really get burned out, just go up in the corner of your screen and click on the x. Walk away from the site for a little while and do something else for a bit until you feel good about coming back.

Ya have to keep logging in Cat. I as well as others consider you an important ingredient to eroids. You can tell if someone wants to learn and is receptive to info given and questions asked. These youngins are use to being someone they arent through the internet. Shit...pretty soon they wont even know how to communicate in person as themselves...they need to be in a good old fashioned fist fight so they realize typing disrespectful shit in the cyber world means nothing...

Any idea how much karma the people posting these forums have? Or how long they've been registered ? I ask because I'm guessing low or no karma and short tenure as members. I'd think implementing a filter in the software that doesn't allow anyone to post a forum until they've either acquired XX amount or karma or have been members for some finite/reasonable amount of time, say 3 months. That way you can ensure they've been here long enough to have an idea of how things work around here, not to mention time to learn the rules and possibly even READ a little before shooting off their yappers. And it basically weeds out trolls who come on here for no other reason than to stir up shit. I think posting in a forum and getting thoughtful responses from valued members should be a privilege earned from at least putting forth a minimal effort to show you deserve to be here in the first place.

I hear ya catalyst...logging on is an adventure lately!....maybe a probation period for all new members. Not giving full access to all the forums ....keep them in a few areas until they prove they really want to belong here and contribute. Make them pass a test or something....anyway just a thot . Damn i need a drink!.....
