What labs should we be getting done?
ad
Ok so privatemdlabs.com you can order labs on ur own and they have tons of different panels. Which is very cool, but I don’t really know what panels I should order! So what are the import panels? They have a body building one and I’m sure that could cover it, but I would still like to know the panels that are important. Shoot if I order just a few panels it maybe be alittle cheaper. Not that I’m trying to skimp out on the labs but every dollar saved is another dollar towards the next vial lol! Along with the basics I’m interested in panels that cover oral effects as well! (Liver shit) ok thanks in advance to everyone who helps out!

PrivateMd is 10x more expensive than good labs.its dirt cheap though them.
You should be getting a CBC, CMP, lipids, testosterone total and free (mass spec kind of test, not ECLIA). and estradiol sensitive. That covers stuff like hematocrit, RBCs. Hemoglobin, liver, kidneys, minerals. Plus your test levels and estrogen levels. Through good labs all that stuff is like $40. You have to piece them together
Once every few months it’s not a bad idea to do C reactive protein, and cystatin C if your kindney values haven’t been great.

Exactly correct. I’d also add SHBG and PSA to that list once or twice a year.
SHBG gives important context to total vs free T, especially for anyone injecting or dosing more frequently, and PSA is just smart baseline/long-term monitoring if you’re on TRT.
If someone wants to go one step further, A1C and fasting insulin once or twice a year can be useful too, but CBC/CMP/lipids, TT/FT (LC-MS), and sensitive E2 are the core like iron said.
Do they use Quest or Labcorp? I cannot donate blood with them because goodlabs isn't within 100 miles of me but Quest and Labcorp are close if they use those labs for the actual testing. I signed up with Marek Diagnostics and they are cheap as well, I was using privatemdlabs but yeah they are pricy.

Dkoon211The only resolution here is to start your own franchise. Pretty obvi -- lol
None of those online places have their own lab. They all use labcorp or quest for blood draw.
Quest
Thanks man, I love Quest for labs.
CBC, CMP, Lipid panel, GGT, Cystatin C, and hsCRP are what I order each time. I'll do some extras if I'm worried about anything in particular, but these cover pretty much everything.
Test, free test, alt, ast, igf, e2, is a basic panel l use. All depends on how deep you wanna go.
