Well I can't catch a break

ad

So as many of you know I tore my pec and had surgery a few months ago. Finally made it back into the gym and back to the weight I was pre injury and had my abs back. Now Sunday night I take this girl out and end up with found poisoning. My stubborn self decides to try and wait it out. So today ,after not even being able to hold down water for days, I head to the hospital. And when they go to check me in and weigh me I've lost 20lbs. Just wonderful. Now I gotta lie here thinking about that and I overhear them saying something about my appendix. Another surgery? That'll just be wonderful

90 lbs is unfathomable to me. Hopefully will be getting the surgery today and will be out tonight or tomorrow am. Definitely planning to start natty bulking during the holidays. Plan on hitting 230 then hopping on the ebc cutter to clean it up and for some motivation

Sorry to hear my man, things will pan out for you in the end. This break might be good for your body, you will gain that 20 and then some! Good luck, im on this thread close, keep us informed.

Sorry to hear about this Ted.I went through a pretty severe gastrointestinal issue two years ago.Dropped 30 pounds in two months. My best advice for you is get as many opinions from goodprofessionals as you can.Educate yourself as to what the root cause of your issues could be.I was misdiagnosed with diverticulitis , took 3 "specialists" and over 6 months of suffering before they finally did the proper testing and actually found the root cause.wish you the best on your recovery, hope you can get back at it soon.

I really appreciate you stopping in brother. Everything you post is always inspirational. And yea nothing to do but heal up and hit it harder than ever. That's one of my favorite quotes too btw ^^

Well ends up I have an ulcer and pancreatitis. One was caused by the other they aren't sure which way around. Hopefully it's a minor ulcer which can be treated with antibiotics and won't require surgery

Sorry about your illness, but I'm glad they've narrowed it down. I know it's frustrating, but just do your best to relax and focus on getting better for now. I've had similar things happen and know a bit how you feel. Best of luck!

Thats rough. Good luck. Don't focus too much right now on what you can't do. Focusing on the negative is poison. Rest and do what you can to aid a speedy recovery. You'll be back on the horse before you know it!

Sorry to hear that bro, your health is what's most important though. You'll be back in the gym in no time...rest up!

Well I bet the majority of that 20 lbs was water. So dont be too worried about losing muscle.
On another note youve a reason to rest your body, and you know when you get back to the iron, you will have a recovered body ready to tear shit up. Eat up and rest!

With the pancreatitis I may not be allowed to eat for 3-7 days :/ but thanks for the words. Guess this'll be nothing compared to surgery recovery

TED's picture

I hoped so. Looking more like pancreatitis now apparently. Means another few days of pain meds antibiotics and no eating for a few days. Gonna be the lightest I've been since I was 17

Damn Ted, I wish you a speedy recovery. That is too many bad things for one person!
