What exactly is our protocol here when we know a member is just being plain irresponsible and dangerous to themselves? My first reaction is to use words to at least attempt to slap some sense into them, but then the other side of me says "It ain't me, MYOB". I guess if a catheter and hospital stay weren't enough there isn't much can be done to alter a fools course. Stupid is as stupid does I suppose.

I hope you figure it out cause there will always be more to come. Keep in mind some people, myself included often learn from experience. I didnt believe that ten compounds and piss poor diet would give me the same effect as one compound until I tried it. I think alot of people get stuck on trying the same thing over and over again, but dont realize it cause the compounds and doses are different. Eventually, when a person gets tired and beat enough they will concede to something different.
Along those same lines, how do I convince a friend I am concernedrned about that he is not doing his due diligence with regards to what he is putting in his body? I have tried force feeding him info that I have found here in these forems but he is convinced he can cycle forever and never have off cycle time and has no clue what PCT even means. We both saw a "doctor" for our first set of gear, and his stance is that the "doctor" didn't say I needed it so I don't think I do. It was only after I started a cycle that I started asking myself questions about the "doctors" interests ($$$) vs. his concerns for my health.
BigBmajIf you are talking about someone here I would say you should send them a pm and discuss your concern. That's much more appropriate than writing a message about how stupid some people are, that's a bit passive aggressive.
I agree it's frustrating but if you express your concern that's all you can really do.

Just try not to be rude about it unless he/she is being a prick but always try to help them. Everyone that uses lives on the dangerous side ya know....one bad pin could change your life, too much for too long without the proper protocols could too. It's all about knowing and you know that brother.

I'm kinda new but to say it best to someone offer advice to them it's the only responsible thing to do. Share why it's dangerous your experience from it your friends experience of it. They choose to do it still, yes you can say dumb ass. But to sit back and know that they are going down the rabbit hole without chiming in is a cruel and unhealthy habit for even yourself.

AnonTheres a couple different types of members on this site. Theres people lurking, who dabble in research here on protocols and sources. Theres avid members, that makes up the majority of us I believe. There are the guys who have a responsibility to learn mother fuckers around here, adv members, mods, gurus, you know who you are if you are one.
CarlosDanger made a post I read that described this very well. It is an obligation to at least try to handle some of the foolish ideas that get pushed around in here, try. Beyond that i believe it's up to the subsequent person to listen, which may or may not happen, but the point is that an effort was made to help.
It's been said here already, you can't fix stupid. Throw out a life line and give them a chance to get right, thats all you can do.

In my opinion, yes you should say something. You will not reach everyone, but if you do not say something you will reach no one. If you reach 1, it was worth it. If you get one person to wait a year, tone down the cycle etc., it was worth it.
BigBmajI bite my tongue all day every day. When I actually point something out people accuse me of being an asshole. I also realized that when I pass judgment a few days later I catch myself doing something similar. As in - "I can't believe this person would do that" and a few days later I catch myself doing something similar. So I always try to keep that in mind.
I think some of us suffer from control issues - it's not my concern what people do.

Some people listen , most don't.

Honestly these kids I say kids for anyone under (21). Will never listen if the answer is "Do not take that stuff you need to wait". They always have a friend who has friend that knows a guy that said it's fine and he did even more and had no problems. Maybe they Googled and researched the side effects and have a list or AI's or PCT method they think is stone wall unbreakable. So they want to ask for our advice and get the same answer and still take the leap of faith? Here is what they will find out......after all the mistakes and problems and scares they WILL have eventually. They will say "I wish I knew then, what I know now". That's called experience and wisdom. So if you can get some great advice from Mod's and Guru's or anyone trying to help you not hurt yourself but you don't listen that's just "Youth" and ignorance. You feel bad because you know it's going to end badly but what more can be done? Nothing.... It's the same thing as if you have a bunch of people waiting for the train to pass and one guys says I think I can make it and the others say "No...don't do it you will not make it". Dude jumps and gets smashed down the track.....Lesson not learned but he should of listened right? SO at the end of the day always do your best to keep someone from taking high MG's or compounds they are not ready for or a bad cycle but if they are going to jump after you said your peace then.......not much more can be done.

That can be a tough one and I think it depends on the person. I've come into threads when it's been pretty contentious and I've tried to take the opposite path and calmly reason with the person and explain why people are being "harsh" with them. Sometimes that works and other times it doesn't. I've taken the "wake the hell up" approach as well. I guess my point is that it really depends on the person and situation.
I really think that it's important that we all TRY to help, no matter what the approach is. I know many people here are tired of it, but as long as there are those willing to try and help, it can make a difference now and again. Maybe we just need to not worry about the result all the time and just do our best to offer advice and not get caught up in the overt stupidity people are displaying. And some people just need to learn the harsh realities of life on their own and down the hardest path they can find. Although it is pretty satisfying when it does go right and advice is listened to and followed.
