The Standard for Stats Have Changed IMO for the better.

ad

First off this is not my idea VIKING came up with this and the credit goes to him. Height, weight is standard protocol, but what about body composition. A 185lb person at 8% bf person with a 30 inch waist and small skeletal frame looks HUGE. A 185lb person with a large skeletal frame and a 32 in waist is skinny. This also applies to people on the large end with more bf%. You can take your thumb and ring finger and touch each other no problem on my wrist because my frame is small but because of my small frame 185lbs I look like I am 200lbs+. Body composition also plays a huge role in building a cycle/diet for someone. As VIKING puts it, it paints a picture in our head of what we are dealing with. So IMO VIKING is right standard protocol should be amended to asking this question. It will give us a better picture to help our fellow members. After all isn't that what this place is all about? Even the vets keep evolving, that what makes OUR community so great.

Body imagery gives vets a clearer picture of what we're working with. Its clearly helpful IF the given stats are true. It only hurts the OP to falsify the numbers. Lately its been nothing but trolls or guys 6ft tall 155 arguing their cycly is needed. Forget the food. The quick fix trumps our words. So they need to just do it. Everyone has their learning curves.

On top of that we continue to grow (as a board) exponentially. Early on when we all knew each other and knew who was who it was much easier and we had more time. Then there is the Troll Factor. They pop up brand new (or have sleeper accts) and drain time and effort for their own amusement. So fellas, when you jump on as a two day member with a knowledge base below the fundamentals and start posting EXPECT to get flamed. There is a plethera of info already accumulated on this board for you to sift through and educate yourselves with. I lurked around readimg posts for months before I finally made an appearance. I guarantee that if you spend a weekend scrolling through for info you will accumulate enough education to come on and ask educated questions and move you along thr process MUCH quicker.
