+ 1 Suboxone & Low T
So I just finished reading an article on Bluelight.com, it says that short acting opioids and even moderate acting opioids such as suboxone can drastically lower testosterone levels. Now being someone who has struggled with addiction for the past 10 years with Herion ( clean now for 2 years ) it alarmed me because two years ago I went on trt therapy and had literally no testosterone to speak of. So what's the point of this post, the point is in the fitness and body building industry and persons living that lifestyle we are prone to injury and excessive body pain and are looking to maximize our output with nothing hindering our training, so what do we do we take a pill or take a shot to dull the pain so we can continue on with our personal goals. However in the meantime we are slowly becoming addicted to pain pills or something stronger, Jerry ward had a post on YouTube how he got addicted to pain medication ( nubane ) it was interesting to hear how quickly he like myself became addicted.
Be carful out there and have a brotastic day fellas.

Hey brother I would like to say great job and I'm proud of you for your 2yrs I know the struggle. I fought for my life for 13yrs trying to get clean. I went to 4 or 5 rehabs and each and every time I got out and went right back to it. Rehab is not a magical fix nor will it fix your problem. Only until I was completely fed up and ready to change did I. I've been clean for close to 6yrs now. I've been on subox for the whole now granted I only take 2mgs a day I still stay on it for fear of falling back into the dark. I never seemed to suffer from low while on it that's not to say it doesn't affect T levels though. I work hard and train hard. I cycle when ready and take my sub every morning and my like has been better than I could ever imagine.. keep your head up brother if I can get 6yrs so can you take it one day at a time and pray pray pray you will make it much love and mad respect
Yeah buddy, rehab was not the magical fix I thought it would be, thanks for posting brother and congrats on the 6 years as well, I know that time did not come easy for you and you should be extremely proud of it.
I was shocked that subs as well as any opiod, opiate, lowers t-levels, however looking back at my running days it makes sense for a lot of the problems I was having when I was with a woman. But anyhow thanks once again and God bless you brother.
@Bigkev80, thanks for sharing. Your experiences will hopefully help people now as well as in the future when they search for this topic. Again, this is simply more being added to the already amazing eroids database of experiences. And cheers to two years sober! That's no easy task. Good work, brother.
I dealt with naloxone briefly for a couple of reason. Mind they weren't personal. I did get to review several case studies before it was added to Buprenorphine to make the "junkie proof" Sub strips. Research Naloxone and Low T. You'll find it interesting. It's interaction with the luteinizing hormone or LH. Also the level of and level of release in reference to GH. I would recommend anyone using the strips to read this research. It's finding could impact your scheduling of your injections vs when you dose. Your protien intake and when you take in your largest amounts. Also believe it or not using strips the research seems to suggest aids in proper PCT. I bet you guys are thinking this guy has an interesting life. Fun and fun. Lol. Anyway this title jump out at me. The reading is done by researchers for researchers mainly so if you don't think you grasp part of it because those fucking retards compare vocabulary like we do johnsons and 1 rep max message me. I'll give an English translation. Using strips changes many things about your AAS use. Most of the findings are based on animal studies. There have been test with humans but I think other than 1 or 2 published the were done as a side project while the funding was for a completely different hypothesis. You want a mini-wiener (bureaucrat) to stop giving you money? Let them think you do something OTHER exactly what your told. Lol. I'll include some links to get you started. Opioids have some effect also. I believe the greater variable of the two is definetly the opioid antagonist. Here's some links. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I included reports that contradict one another. So you can make a 100% informed decision for you. They are probably both right to a degree. The biggest variable is you. There's not another exactly like you. Listen to your body. Although I see and hear snide remarks about the "training log" also see way fewer guys doing it. Do one. Not just for training but what goes on with your body. The dick smokers (pardon ladies) that make those comments just can't read and write. Nor do they care for fitness. They have an $8 an hour job and bum rides. So they only way even the skanks will put out is they lie and say they are a bouncer at "the nice titty bar" so they could get them hired. I love Merica. :-)
*edit
Found a really great one. This is PDF format. A long read and quite technical in spots. Read then over again I think you will pick up some very useful info.

Good post brother thanks for sharing it. I never really put much thought into my T levels and subs but now I will. It's so nice to be able to interact with people here who has such a vast knowledge of things that doesn't mind sharing. Thank you.
There is a lot more that goes into this guys. For anyone who was addicted to opiates at lengths of time you all know how it zaps your sex drive. It's artificially giving you that pleasure so in turn you don't really need it. Sure. Some may say you still want it at times, then you might attack your girl or whomever you lay down with only to realize A. You cant really get super hard. Or B. You're rock solid and can fuck for days without orgasming.
This has a lot to do with dopamine and norepinephrine as well as the low t. I've had drs tell me that certain opiods cause high shbg so even if your test is there your body isn't utilizing it correctly. In short, opiods fuck your endocrine system up and the long you used them the worse it is. This is especially prevalent for those who dabbled through their teens to late 20s, etc.
I agree a few of my friends that lived pretty hard from there teens to late 20's run there first cycle of test and talk about how they finally feel normal again.
Everyone is different, but from personal experience of the ten+ years I was on herion, prescribed, oxycodone/oxycontin, and methadone, it wrecked my endocrine system and am now on trt at 29
Same here, unfortunately I wasn't diagnosed until 30 for trt. Herion is a mother fucker man.
I started trt almoat four years ago with a t level around 200
rocketballzIVe been on subs for 8 yrs. 12 mgs/day. My baseline test level is 425 and I'm 46 so I would take that blue light article with a grain of salt. Bottom line is everyone is different and everyone responds differently to certain medications.
