If a new source approaches you and asks you to submit them or offers you gear to submit them, decline. If we catch wind at very least you are going to lose your karma and at worst be banned. We expect actual paying customers that have used the gear of that source to submit them, without exception.

I told said account to take his post down as it looked like a promo and he wasnt verified. I was offered freebies as well but not to verify the account but to "try." Fuck that. I already have trust issues as it is lol.
We'll get "sources" who'll ask to be verified. When we look into them, they'll have a slick website, and look legit but when you dig deeper you find the domain was just purchased last week, the server is unsecured (http not https), and the site is hosted stateside or in the EU. Needless to say, that is not a source you want to be caught submitting.
Everything you said is extremely easy to find out too.
