First time ever pinning. I was actually surprised at the ease going in and lack of any pain until i felt the pin enter my delt. I heated the oil, pinned slow, put a hot pack on it for about 5 mins after, took a hot shower etc.
Too bad my hand was shaking and kept having to readjust because I kept pulling on the barrel while injecting lol, glad i didnt snap the pin off in my arm.
So are you guys sad when you see that little bit of oil left that didnt come out? Do all of you pull out like .1 mL extra to account for that?

pull in a little air and youll push all the oil out.
didnt even think about that.. and just stop once the liquid is all out i assume. thanks for the tip bro
StevebI was always scared to do that. Is it easy to avoid injecting the air into the body?
it wont hurt you, just make sure you aspirate before you inject
StevebI always aspirate, I just always read getting even a little air inside the body is dangerous.
waltrsmall quantities can be beneficial during IM injections according to this site

it is forum type posting although the people posting appear to be medical students (can't verify this)
edit:
i believe intravenous injections are the ones you want to avoid air bubbles as that is straight into the bloodstream
i pull out just a tad more. not even a quarter cc (.25). just enough for the few drops that stay in the reservoir
