Ranking Corruption?
I have been following the Eroids Rankings for quite a while.I primarily look at steroids and domestic steroids rankings but I do watch everything.I have often noticed unexplainable movement of points and sources.I understand that it takes votes to move a sources points.I dont believe reviews actually do anything for points.Do reviews move points? Why are there movement in points with no votes? Heres a good example I seen this week. In the peptide category.I watch # CENSORED.They are my favorite source. For the last week going into Monday they had 88.15 points and havent received any votes or evens reviews for that matter.Tuesday morning their point total went up to 89.15 .They jumped a full point over night.I checked their reviews and votes.It would take 6-7 perfect votes to take that kind of jump.I found no new reviews or votes.Absolutely no reason for a point increase.This looks very shady.I was wondering,maybe some one hacked in and changed a points?Thinking no one would notice?....BTW they did received a review and vote at some point after the over night jump.They are no longer at 89.15 BUT,how does that happen?Does this happen often?Does Eroids know about this? The bottom line is there is no explanation for point jumps like this.Either Eroids is corrupt -there is a technical error-or perhaps a hack-job to do this. 88.15 to 89.15 .This put them in first place. IS EROIDS CORRUPT? I hope not! I hope they will answer.

The sad part is...a source could have a -10 score, been labeled a scammer, or sold gear that crippled people -or- made them sick...and fanbois would still come out of wood work to blow smoke.
Do your homework. Dont ignore obvious problems when mods spell it out for you. I lined up some succesful transactions by starting at the top ranked sources and then cross referenced them on other sites. I worked my way through the bullshit. The ranking is just a starting point.
As said down below votes fall off after 6 months. But if you want a better explanation I would suggest posting in the ask BFG anything thread.
I am sure there is an explanation and I am very certain your argument is conjecture and not actually supported by anything. You claim that you ran the numbers and offer no math to support how you arrived at these numbers. There are three main variables is a Bayes Theorem and that's just one tree. There are typically networks of trees to calculate past probabilities and future probabilities and you do not know which variables Eroids uses or the weight placed on those variables as they too change based on the constant activity on this site. You have called out several below and stated that not one of them can stand up and back their statement yet you offer no real fact other than weak observations. I challenge you to back your statement with actual math and not assume we are idiots and will trust you at your word because you pointed a few observations. They may be fact, they may not.....you have to support your claim with real numbers. How did you determine that there needed to be "6-7 perfect votes" to influence a score jump?

So NO Forum has a perfect system! I also believe that Eroids has a pretty good system.However there are apparent flaws OR some cheating.These questions were not brought to criticize a specific source.I used 1 source as an example because it was a clear example........"I think you should go read how the algorithm works" ........... there is a quote from KodiakGirl and a couple others.....I have read it .Now how bout you step up and explain it? Because you cant.I challenge you to man up to your mouth and explain it....An algorithm is still a scientific system that is traceable.I found 1 explanation that could possibly have made sense.The drop of votes every 6 months.However,NOPE .Didnt work out.Now I cited the example and the answer was that the algorithm some how cause a full 1 point jump.This source had no reviews or votes in th last week and only 5 in the last 2 months.....went back six months as asked......NOPE It doesnt match up with the "algorithm" explanation.....So,eroids says that there is no manipulation of the system.I will take their word on that.In the mean time,to all of you that made comments.....NOT 1 OF YOU CAN STEP UP AND EXPLAIN WHAT I CITED.This happens all the time,but usually more slight movements.They are so slight that they arent noticed and could probably be explained off because even though the algorithm is a fully explainable science the actual analysis and math involved to come up with an exact numbers is ridiculously extensive......I am gonna get BAN ,so I wanted to just finish by saying thank you to all the members and Mods for the contrbutions you make.I enjoy reading and learning from all the information.I would have preferred to be a member contributing in a positive manner but I was ban a few months back for arguing with a MOD.So I cant be a member any more.The Mods are good men in general but some times their egos get the best of them and they are quick to click the Ban switch.
Go to the link vhman posted and scroll your ass down to the bottom past all the differential, summation and reference equations to the simple one at the bottom. Read it a few times to understand what the Bayes estimator does. In simple it is there so that the actual number of votes is weighted into the equation as well. So that creates a vector not a scalar thus you can not just simply extrapolate the actual score just by taking the mean of the scores. And that ALL votes weigh against ALL scores. That particular equation may not be what BFG uses but something along that lines is what causes this "anomaly" that has you in a hissy fit. Now drink your juice, eat your veggies so you can wash up and go to bed.
You want to use my name.. that's fine but I have neither the time nor patience to try to explain the algorithm to someone who doesn't have the capcity to understand. there are many weighted variables to it and tbh it is a much much better system that what used to be in place prior to it. If you want it spelled out please do some research of your own I m sure there is some nice internet guru who is more than happy to explain it to you .. try you tube... furthermore, please provide some factual basis for your conjectures ... as you can see I m not ranked very high nor is that the sole purpose for my life so I don't really have a horse in the race. As for the mods, I m quite certain that none of them have an issue with people asking questions but the manner in which you do so will always influence how people will react to you and the type of answers you will receive back.

I've looked it up and it's above my head and I would assume most other's head, but it's a standard algorithm that is used to calculate rankings and many other things.

Old votes drop off after 6 months if I remember correctly so maybe an old bad vote dropped off resulting in their score going up.

RustyhookerWhat you're forgetting is that it takes 6 karmas to vote. So many of those folks may come back after pix posted etc and then click the stars.
Algorithm. ...New votes change faster by math nerds formula. Look at brand new verified sources. Just verified and in the top 15. Only 10 reviews. As time gets longer the full math gives more accuracy.
The MODS do keep up on the reviews. That's the hardest job. If something looks funky, pm them. Funky like source with no activity suddenly busting through the ranks. Definite red flag.

RustyhookerReview at any karma. Keeps folks updated. Make sure review includes gains, losses, strength, doses and proper time on cycle.

Unfortunately. A src can go from: OMG dream come true- to- OMG my leg is swollen and I cant walk! With a quickness. Reviews are handy at showing patterns. Even if skewed at times, red flags become obvious after a little reading.

Ive seen shady shit in the ranks but I believe its more on the src side and not exactly eroids plan to manipulate.
An example would be never before seen lvl 1s out there voting up someone's turd juice up or crapping on another src's good juice.
That's why I would advocate for Eroids creating a "pay for play" members only site that would let vetted srcs list but not financially influence their product placement. And make it financially difficult to rig the process.
The way the system works now someone selling bunk could open 50 accounts thru friends for free to rate them up, +1 each other, flame the real reviews and crap on the good srcs.
That's what I worry about.
Like I have said before, I came here to buy good, safe, gear for personal use and to help those I can.
I have faith in the MODS and BFG. They keep a pretty close eye on those rankings and the people voting them.

Perhaps if you knew a little more about how the system works it may make sense. After a determined amount of time I believe votes fall off. So if a good vote falls off a score may drop and if a bad vote falls off a score may rise.
There's your answer. If you found out the way it actually works, then you'd have saved yourself some time......
