Pulsating Elbow - Muscle or Blood
So about 3 weeks ago I went to give blood like I always do. Only this time I got a trainee. She jabs me and can't get the blood to flow. So she is twisting it while her teacher is liek pull out a little push in a little turn it a little etc etc. I sucked it up.
Anyway I get home and I am taking a shower and I look at my inner elbow. (Where my bicep meets my forarm but on the inside closes to my body) And my arm is pulsing. Like a muscle spasm. Good thing is I can't feel like it a muscle spasm cause those are annoying sometimes. But its pulsing like pump pump pump pump. I assume its because "Dracula in Training" was new and just got her teeth. So I give it a week and it is still pulsing. Around week 2 though I look at my other arm in the same spot and I notice it is pulsing the same way only not quite as noticeable. Its now been 3 weeks and both still doing it.
So now I am wondering if my arms have always done this and I just never have noticed before or what the issue is? Since both arms are doing it I assume it wasn't the Dracula in Training.
Im still not sure if it is musclar or if I am like seeing my blood pumping through my viens there.
Anyone else have this?

I thought about bloodpressure but figured it wasn't that since they take my pressure before giving blood. I do it pretty regularly while on cycle with no issues.
If it is pulsing,........it would be an artery (high pressure), blood draws normally use veins (low pressure).
If Miss Dracula had nicked a artery, you would have a sizable hematoma.

This is what I am thinking. Its just artery pulsing. Im also suspecting I just never noticed it before and it has always done this and I just happen to notice this time because dracula was nawing on my arm and I was checking for bruising.
If I am looking at arteries in the elbow/arm it appears it could be the brachel artery.

Brachial artery also runs thru your bicep, you have a pressure point in your bicep to shut off blood flow to your lower arm in case of injury (first aid course), you could apply pressure to said pressure point to see if pulsing stops .
I fully expected to have a bruise but nothing like that at all. Dracula's teacher was watching her th whole time and he was liek you are in the vein the whole time. she just had to turn the needle because of the bevel.
I had one last week, several attempts on my right arm with no results (blood). Switched to left arm and she got results.

she put it in and it started right away and when she went to tape the tube to my arm it stopped and she had trouble getting it started again. so she pusha nd pulled and rotated the needle until it started to flow again.
