Prone to gyno?

ad

Hi All,

I am a ways away from doing my first cycle, it will be at the earliest Christmas time due to an above average bodyfat level which I am rapidly cutting first.

However, I recently remembered something from when I grew up. When I was about 14/15 I had a small little lump just behind my left nipple if you pressed the nipple down a bit then you could see a bump in the skin. I went to the docs and he said that it was just as I was growing through puberty and it would disappear. It did within 6 months or so and I have never had gyno at all. I know its probably difficult to tell but would this be an indicator that I may be more prone to gyno if I eventually start a cycle after xmas? Or was this just something that a lot of teens go through at a young age, the only reason I ever had it checked was because my mom was very wary of cancer and lumps, etc

I really wish I had asked what exactly the name for it was.

Thank you, some good points.

I feel as though I've been eating clean and exercising well for around a year now so its definitely not a short term phase. I am seriously, seriously looking to go from fatty to ripped. I have lost 70lbs in that time and I have put on some good LBM also but the speed in which I was putting on that muscle has now almost halted( newbie gains probably). People have said I look half the man I was in terms of fat now. I am still a way away from where I want to be but god damn its slow smashing this last 10% to drop to below 15% I feel as though for 6 months i've plateaued despite still eating cleanly to my macros and incorporated resistance training and cardio. Its getting on my nerves how it was so rapid at first and now budging the scales is taking forever...I can work hard all week eating 750 under maintenance daily and incorporate cardio in ( usually 45 minutes a day minimum) and yet one cheat meal at the end of the week will mean the scales just don't move by monday, I don't feel im getting stronger so it cannot be increasing LBM eating that much of a deficit.

I am thinking about heading back onto an ECA stack for a month or two to really smash some LBs up, is there something you can take to reset your tolerance or receptors to caffeine? Something like ketotifen? I initially got burnt out on 600mg of this stuff a day and was tired all the time and my blood pressure had increased a bit, but it was effective for controlling appetite and giving me energy.

I am 27 for the record, the lump I had that I thought could have been similar to gyno was over 10 years ago now.

Thanks, I can get bloods done for free if my GP will refer me. She knows I've dropped a lot of weight and knew immediately when I asked about getting my test levels checked last time that something was up. She literally went " are you supplementing testosterone?", im thinking wow. I then told her about bioforge which is a natural test booster I was taking but as of two days ago i've completed the cycle I was on there. She said she won't refer me while im on that as my levels will be elevated but I want to try again this week.

In terms of carb manipulation, would you think eating say for instance ( just crunching some estimate numbers) that 70g a day in mainly fiberous carbs, 240g ( about l gram per 1 lb bodyweight) of protein and 100g natural fats would be a good way to handle it, or is another approach better?

ty for the +3

I don't know of any teenage guy that didn't have something like that. I did, at the time I didn't say shit to my friends, but later found out they all had the same thing happen. I'm pretty sure its a very common thing. Like I said, I had that happen and I haven't had any serious problems with gyno before. One cycle I got the little lumps again but they went away during pct. There are plenty of options for controlling gyno on cycle though.

Many factors play into being gyno prone bodyfat%,pre-existing gyno, and how much your body converts test into estrogen. It really varies from person to person. Do some research around here and there are some great posts about it and very intelligent vets on the site. I would say that since you had a little prob with it during a spike in hormones as a youngster you would have a higher chance of getting gyno. But there are many preventive measures you can take to control it such as an ai like aromasin, exemestane and so on. Just do some research on those and you will learn all u need to know! Good luck.
