Sources have learned to walk a fine line when running a promo and some of you are eager to cross that line.
Promos are a way for sources to get their product out there and tested. Some of you kids are just looking out for number one, jumping on as many promos as you can and you never follow through with a review. So sources have started to offer their promos for existing, loyal customers that are active in their Si pages and leave honest reviews.
And some sources want to game the system and some of you kids are more than willing to "play the game".
LISTEN UP EVERYONE. If you are joining a promo and a source leads you on to leave a review as a condition to get in on the promo. And you "suddenly remember" you forgot to make a review for that "past order" he and you are complicit in making fake reviews for gear.
IT IS OK to reward loyal customers and ask you to point to a review you posted already. But that review better be dated before a promo is launched or even rumored about in the SI pages.
Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to do do business with a source who is obviously trying to rig his rankings. Never once have I gone into a grocery store and walk up to the Jimmy Dean sampler lady and be told I need to buy the sausage before I can sample the sausage.

AnonI see this happen sometimes. A source launches a promo and then that source gets new reviews from guys who try to enter that new promo.

I think until you spend the time helping and rack up enough karma where the person is vested, 10 minimum, you should not review. I don't care what a new member thinks....of anything
I wouldn’t let karma fool you. Many users have been here for years and are not active on the boards. This doesn’t mean that they don’t have experience. You could friend request specific people on reviews and ask in pm. I found spending a little time in the src discussion page and reading through gear pics has been more useful then reviews.

As I said below I can't take the credit, another lad brought him up somewhere else and had me in stitches. He freaked out quiet a bit, might of been the amount of tren he was running (apparently his drug of choice).

Reviews shouldbe like votes. Your given 1 vote every 6 months i believe. There should be a time on reviews. Sooo many bullcrap reviews.. seek these guys out and spank the karma whoring outta them.
I had similar to this very recently.
I asked the source to clarify whether the promotion was for new or existing customers (no mention either way in the post)

I still don't see the point in promos unless it's enough gear to write an honest review.

Should be either enough to run a cycle of the compound, or should offer a promotional discount on existing prices to encourage to buy (or 2 for 1 etc)
I love discount promos. A lot of these problems would vanish if there was money involved...I discovered my new go to on a bogo.
3 of my sources here were found on a bogo and the newest one did a promo about a month ago and not a single person posts in the guys si or even said they got their stuff. he gave away a shitload too. I was impressed with they way he handled business so I made a decent purchase.

No doubt, I dont buy the 20.00 test or the 10.00 prop. Quality over quantity for me. You get what you pay for.

The source i buy the most from has a sort of standing 10% off if you know where to find it. The prices are already of the best, so that little 10% does it for me every time!
