Preventing trolling (maybe it should be limiting trolling)
This is probably more for the mods but I was thinking of ways to prevent trolls randomly posting in every forum area and this is what I thought - Maybe we should make it a requirement for people to post an introduction of themselves in the 'introduce yourself' section before letting them loose on the forum. New members can read and digest information but until an introduction post has been submitted they cannot post anywhere.
It can be monitored like the review threads - if it doesn't meet a standard then it gets deleted and you have to try again and possibly, if it can be done, don't allow replies to intros until they have been reviewed and the intro is up to standard.
We've had a supposed "6'4 240b 50 year old" going mental everywhere causing a stir and now we have a haemorrhoid thread.
Just a thought.

Besides trolling there is the Midnight Marketing group.
They show up after the Mods log out for the evening. Post a couple of crap ads,........knowing full well, they will be banned in the morning.
Way to much work for the Mods to do.

I also seen members come on then a week later there true colors come out , for that matter i seen the same with sources ..easy solution.hit the button

true. it calls for some common sense before replying, to a post that is wildly out of the blue, and when the internal troll alert sounds.
People come to EROIDS for many different reasons.
So their introductions would all be different, so having a standard to meet would have to be very wide.
Would it slow them down, yes, for their first or second time only. After that, not so much.
There is a common reason for coming to eroids and that is our shared interest in steroids
to learn and discuss steroids, our cycles and health, diet and exercise. so a standardised introduction isn't that much of a crazy notion. We don't need to know their life history or medical records but a person's introduction will show what their reasoning for signing up quite quickly.
