Physical Exam

ad

I got approved for health care recently and had to make an initial physical appointment, the issue is I havent been to a Dr in ages and im smack dab in the middle of a test and winny cycle, for a physical will they draw blood or do a urinalysis? And if so will they check for steroids? I dont want to get denied coverage just cuz I wanted to do a cycle but I also just cant stop in the middle of it.

They have to send your blood or hair to a special lab to test for that stuff. The insurance company would give steroid tests if they were cost effective so they could jack up the rates.

Good chance your BP is a little off so they may mention that. Have an answer for it, like you were congested when you woke up and took some cold or sinus meds.

Steroid drug Test is very expensive and also it is not common practice to test hormone levels unless the patient expressed a concern or a sign or symptoms of low T or something
Even Ed they will not test levels just write Viagra

Nah a physical they usually don't draw blood or do lab work. At most they might do a CBC (complete blood count), but that won't reflect that you've done steroids or anything like that. If they do a urinalysis they'll only test for narcotics. Tests for steroids is usually much more expensive. You're cool buddy. Also, if they ask just deny it.
