Yep. That's what the ECHO says. My personal Dr says. Yes lifting heavy will, Yes, will!!! Give you left ventricular hypertrophy to some extent due to SVR (systemic vascular resistance and myocardial workload). Its not the end of the world. Some call it (Athletic heart syndrome). My Dr. thinks I should stop liftin for about 3 months and take another look. Its FKN SUMMER!!!! My Heart rate is like 63! Crappy day.... :(
And no I don't do HGH. 5'7 190 and feelin good.
But.... My Dr is Uber liberal. I don't want to fuck with a good thing.
I'm not asking for justification for going against MD advice.Jjust venting. Its Bad timing for strict orders.
Anybody else run into this?

Keep an eye on your pulse pressure, resting and w/activity. Also, monitor your bloodwork focusing on Na+ and BUN/Cr levels. Stay hydrated and continue moderate cardio 2-3 times per week.

Also, donate when you can, since you are on TRT.

Honestly bro, whats your main priority? lifting and being big, or saving your heart, because you only get one. I was forced to take 10 weeks off due to a bicep injury in the fall, and then when that semi healed life got crazy, some big life changing events all at once making it very hard to keep a good regimine. Its all calmed down now 6 months later and guess what, I still look pretty damn good. I lost a bit of weight, id say alot of it was fat im much leaner now but some muslcle but after just getting back in the gym my strength is still there and im a position to get back to where i was. I know how bad it sucks to have to stay out of the gym, but if you build a good base before gear, and keep eating right while youre not training muscle loss will be minimal. I didnt eat right when i had all that time off, i wont get into everything that was going on in my life but it was crazy for a while and i still am happy with how i look. But now im ready to get big again, and remember muscle memory, im counting on it, what you lose should come back quick, if you lose much at all. The gym is our home and its hard to say to dont to your home, but heart health is way more important, we can control almost every other side effect except those of that effect the heart, and its the worst of all. Every pro dies from either heart problems or kidney problems.

Maybe you can do cardio? Its summer so im guessing you want to get leaner, cardio is good for the heart, keep your diet right and do some cardio and youll lean out. But id run that by your doctor first.

Well, I am willing to admit that I have had a ton of cardiovascular problems including one heart attack. I still train 5 days a week like a psycho and I still compete and I'm not planning on retiring anytime soon. I escaped the heart attack without any damage, I was in the hospital with pneumonia when it happened and it only took seconds for them to get me into the OR.

I'm uncomfortable in giving you medical advice on this bro, but from what I just said you can guess what I think. LOL

Tough call brother, but this is pretty serious sounding.
