Lump in glute - going on 2 weeks
Hey bros I have a question for you guys that I want some direction or advice on! First off, I have many cycles under my belt and have done a lot of injections in the glute area. I have experienced the normal injection pains, swelling, soreness and lumps that we from time to time get from injections! All of which in the past have gone away with time.
However, I did an injection in my left glute about 2 weeks ago. After injection I experienced little pain and just the normal that you get from an ordinary injection. About 3 days after the injection I noticed normal pain and a lump in that area the size of a baseball maybe a tad smaller. Nothing to worry about because it had no redness, no major swelling and the pain didn't increase. Well it has been 2 weeks and the size went slightly down and the pain is honestly a 2 out of 10 but the size of the lump hasn't gone down at all. It has been the same size. It feels really right any time I stretch the muscle which just has me concerned that it may be something due to scar tissue. What do you guys think this is or what could it be? I did an injection on the right side of my glute a day later with the same amount of mgs of gear and exact compounds with no effect? Help me out guys if you can I would appreciate it.

Just don't delay seeing the doc.
From what you write, it doesn't seem to be infected. But, just to give you a point of reference on how bad things can get, take a look at the following.

Best to get a songram. It could be a sterile access although one that size is rare. It could also be a Hematoma that's contained inside. But all this is speculation and a Sonogram will show what it is so it can be reduced and treated.
And it could be a subcutaneous abscess which is contained and not red on the outside....But again only a Sonogram will be conclusive!
Hell no I haven't done any injections in that area since!! I ain't an idiot!!
Appreciate the advice jellotrip! I have had abscess before and the symptoms were way worse then this! I am going to guess a doctor is either going to cut and drain or fight off with antibiotics!!
AnonIf you have had it for 2 weeks and there have been no signs of infection then I doubt its infected. Leaving an infection untreated that long, you would get very sick, that shit can kill you. But might as well have the doc take a look, most likely they will decide whether or not to drain it and put you on antibiotic/anti-inflammatory meds as a precaution.
off to the doctors, time for some drainage and anti biotics. good luck
I don't consider it normal either that's why its alarmed me and before jumping to the doctors I wanted some of you guys views on it! With it not getting worse in pain or getting red/ warm to touch is also what was strange!!
AnonJust leave it alone, it will either go away on its own or it won't. If its not getting any worse then no need to panic, but if it really has you concerned then be safe and see a doc. Just tell me you haven't done any more injections in that spot since then...
AnonSterile abscess? I don't know about you but I don't consider anything about a baseball size lump in my ass cheek normal, maybe because its never happened to me i dunno.
Sterile abscess is my first inclination, but with something that size that isn't going away I would go to the doc.
