Lets talk about hematocrit and RBC count.

So just to start out, I fully understand the consequences of letting your hematocrit and RBC levels get out of control. This problem can lead to heart attack, stroke, etc. I also understand that these things can kill you. So IMO this is the scariest potential side of AAS use out there (prostate health is of concern too, but thats a topic for a different thread). I mean if I quit getting boners, life will suck for a little bit, but I'm still alive and my dick will eventually get hard again. If i lose some of my hair I can shave head. Medically speaking though, theres just no way to fix dead. Now I know you can donate blood regularly to help keep these levels down, but I don't seem to see a whole lot of any other advice out there. So outside of prescription meds and Dr. visits, that can get very spendy. What else could be done to keep your blood levels in check? The first thing that occurred to me was low dose aspirin. Does anyone think this is a valid form of control? If it is, what else should be considered incorporating an aspirin regimen into an AAS cycle? Thanks for responses guys.

My platelet count is really high (thrombocytosis.) And my WBC are high. This is not due to steroids. And my RBC is 6 from testosterone. Having all this extra stuff in my blood concerns me. I am going to look into the matter further. Right now I just take aspirin and mixed vitamin E.

Thanks for the info. I know a lot of this is common sense stuff that will help your body whether you're on or off cycle. I just wasn't sure if any of these seemingly simple solutions would have any adverse effects if you throw AAS into the mix. I'm just trying to stay as healthy as possible.

Bump. Anyone, any thoughts?
