I guess one thing you could check with your diet is that you're keeping Mono unsaturated fats high and Saturated fats low. Check the fats you use to cook ect.

I keep a good check on my diet, it take EFA's on the side too.I eat real clean, drink a lot of water. I figured someone would have a trick so to speak, like eat a grapefruit with every other day, or add this or that to your bedtime meal, because so and so. I pretty much have the basics covered, I guess I should have mentioned that in the header, but thank you for the input dude.

Aside from some experimental drugs, there is no way to really significantly raise HDL. I tried to find info on injecting it directly but it didnt leadme anywhere.

niacin or nicotinic acid; although the niacin intake is usually pretty high which turns your skin into a fire jacket you cant take off. That will effectively lower your ldl so fast its crazy. Red yeast rice will lower your ldl; oatmeal every day, staying away from too much sat and trans fat. No smoking, e.t.c.

From my reading and I wish I had some links but I've read you need to be in the range of 500-1000mg of niacin for it to be effective, So since my hdl was borderline low but ldl was really good I decided to try 500mg of niacin since i read it can raise your hdl by 20 points. Let me tell you, the fire jacket is an understatement! I got a heat rash on my arms, tried taking a cold shower with no success and it lasted about 45 minutes. I have now split up my capsules to be roughly 100mgs and that still gives me a niacin flush but it only lasts a few minutes. hopefully my next blood work looks good as I will report back in a couple months.

lol yeah, my friend is a chemist and i had a drug test, he told me to take 200mg for 3 days 3 times a day, my whole body was beet red and i thought i was possessed. passed the test but fuck me i would have rather failed then go through that pain again.

WOW dude after reading that a light bulb went off in my head. I know what niacin is, but it didn't occur to me to now... I been feeling like I'm going to hit the floor during a set, and this start very recently, I like to use H.I.T High Intensity Training... Super and Giant Sets, little raise, Dorian Yates swears by it... and who, It started around the time I started this new preworkout, don't get me wrong dude, it's awesome stuff, but there's 25 mg of niacin per serving and I take two servings... So I guess the combination of the two must be the reason.

You know whats funny, I just bought BPI 1.M.R and it has 25 mg of niacin per serving. Thanks for that info dude.
