Karma Lost for posting a correct review of a supplier

ad

I am wondering, I posted an actual review of a supplier who failed to operate within there documented procedures under there FAQ portion of their site, I also tried communicating with them directly, no valuable response. I than posted my experience on EROiDs and somehow went from 2 karma to -2 karma and I don't know why. I responded to there post showing all the dates, the order number, the FAQ section on how the operate, and failed, and the communications, which offered no information in response to my question. where does this put me now, seems Karma is of some value on this site to have some options like voting etc and i just lost 4 points for a reason i don't understand beyond posting the actual truth about a supplier. Any insight?

Thanks for everyone for the feedback, clearly i couldn't see where i made my error in my posting. I figured since i was coupling two orders into one feedback it was a viable option. I deleted what i could and asked the post be deleted. Fair point on some of the personalities, i don't take it personal just more on the perspective of always trying to make sure people are helping folks be smart, not pushing aside folks who already could have made up there their minds and really could use some simple guidance to keep them from taking the cycle to an epic fail level. Thanks again for the kindness and explanations, Cheers all

You are well spoken and clearly educated to a level not usually seen among us juice feigning Neanderthals. Stick around, read, and contribute. You will do just fine, looking forward to seeing you around here. +1 for using proper grammar.

You're not supposed to post these things publicly. Any issues between you and a source are private and should be handled that way. Read the RULES!

Thanks for the response, perhaps its worth noting, this was NOT my first purchase, it was my second, and my review referenced BOTH purchases, so - in short, yes, it was about purchased goods that were received and about purchased goods NOT received -

I read the posting rules below and don't see how i violated anything of them given at first post never contained order numbers or addresses etc.. Really trying to understand not being a XXXXHead where does it say my post would cost me karma in the rules i read before posting - here they are below

REVIEW WRITING RULES
INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT WILL BE DELETED.
Colorful language is fine, but there is no need for harassment, threats, hate speech and other displays of bigotry.
NON RELEVANT AND PARTIAL REVIEWS WILL BE DELETED.
A review should be relevant. We don't need know you've placed an order. Or read "gtg received my stuff". Review should be your full experience, and that includes everything from the first contact, to the gains you're making with the products.
TEXT DISCLOSING PERSONAL INFO WILL BE DELETED.
Do not post personal information, payment methods used, emails, tracking numbers and similar content.
YOU MAY WRITE A REVIEW IF
You've received AND USED the product.
You HAVE ORDERED and NOT RECEIVED your products in the ADVERTISED TIMEFRAME.
Anything else written in this review section, you got it - deleted.

And yet YOU JUST NOW POSTED (AGAIN) payment methods and order numbers (similar content)

Thanks for pointing that out, how do i delete my user profile?

Greg's picture

you can't. Suck it up and work your way out of the hole. Read the rules, if you create a second account, you'll be banned.

We had issues in the past where people kept doing what your planning to do. Results in scams and fraud.

+3 to help you out

Thanks Greg, I understand the rational for the rules, and how karma works, my general frustration is how it seems to go around. I made sincerer posts with some value and content trying to learn and I see folks whose response posts offer no value or substance, yet they get thumbs up for trashing a newb. It seems amazingly contradictory to what I would think these forums are here for. Many people here are here for advice, guidance, warnings even. I feel we should approach every response to someone’s post on a new cycle or something with the through process of - THE POSTER WILL LIKELY TRY THIS ANYWAY.... so instead of staying, don't do it, or dumb ass, or newb your crazy, etc..... perhaps something constructive. I made maybe 3 posts... and the best responses I got was from Rustyhooker, direct and helpful, then I get post from some others like, hey dude you goals are mixed up with your post, and to not complicate things.... from someone else, I mean how's that help. And the dumbass comment in this thread, really helps. Sorry for the rant, appreciate the karma, just disappointed at some of the attitudes, though I shouldn't be its how we are these days as people. Regardless, thanks man, I will try to come back but as I can and thrive to add value, I am sure I can be more helpful than dumbass...

Go figure, a site with a bunch of men using steroids might come off a little aggressive.

I understand your point but you too had a role to play. Even above while you were arguing your point, you did not catch that you clearly violated the very rules you copied to validate your point.

Do you know how many other posts like yours we've seen over the years? It can be exasperating. Take your time, check your posts before you post. Read the yellow stickies in each forum, and use the search function.

I am thinking perhaps I am missing a joke somewhere.... i will just laugh blindly at the moment

Simple answer.

The "KMC Rewards Program" usually awards karma with a negative sign in front of it. It is also well known (in my mind) for rewarding shill's and doubling down on the source's they are shilling for.

ETA: FR denied.
