JohnnyBlackif you have kaiser like myself definitely do your blood work OUTSIDE of kaiser.. I've met plenty of doctors ( in AA meeting ;-) ) who have told me all about how your "privacy" isn't really that private. If you want to get bloodwork done dish out some extra money and do it third party.
If they get the notion your using AAS you will have DEFINATE problems. I know it might sound like its worth it 20$ copay or a $300 bloodwork test done but you really don't want that info in kaisers records.

You already got good advice below. Just wanted to reiterate, you have no right to privacy with your MD when it comes to sharing every detail of your medical record with their administration. If you test high they will drop you.
I am not positive of this but I think different insurance companies can also share info w each other, so you might not b able to buy another policy. I might b paranoid but I DO NOT trust insurance companies.
The only way I would ask my Kaiser Dr for a test level is if I already knew it was low and wanted an Rx for TRT. But if they prescribe TRT never give them a sample when you are blasting.
AnonDont fuck with AAS and Kaiser Permanete. Once your record indicates AAS use (In the medical world theres no AAS USE just ABUSE) you wont be able to get life-insurance as easily (if at all). If you want blood-work go to a third party that doesnt ask for super personal information such as Drivers License #, Social Sec #..etc. As already said privatemdlabs.com is a favorite.
CleyonMake sure you are totally cleared before you ask for it from Kaiser! If they get a whiff that you are on AAS they can (and will) drop you, group policy or not. I had a friend get in real trouble with his job because Kaiser threatened to drop the whole company because his test came back REALLY high.

OH yea... i do it. PROBLEM IS...your doctor has to request it. mine denied me last time and said there is no need unless you are using anabolic steroids...LMFAO, I was like oh ofcourse not, thanks! got everything but test work. had to get labs done seperately. but if you tell them, im feeling weak, low energy no drive to do stuff, and i erectile issues, can i have test checked, even if your young, you should have no problem
