Infection or PIP? Help me out guys
So, 9 days ago I my first injection from a MAJOR supplier ( HIGHLY reputable aka top 5 on the list)got infected and I was in the hospital for 3 days and had to have surgery to have the abscess removed.
I did my first injection ( after stopping antibiotics ) again 16 hours ago and I now have a swollen spot and its warm to the touch. I have done damn near close to a thousand injections with the same sterilization procedure never once had an issue.
I contacted this lab and they wanted me to preform an at home culture test which i agreed to, however once i agreed they said it wasn't worth the time.
I asked if they could just resend the vial as i didn't feel comfortable injection but they said that if my vial was contaminated that means that the entire batch was contaminated as well.
I am not sure if this is just pip ( i resumed my antibiotics) or if this gear is just bunk. I don't wanna say the name of the lab yet, but if this gets worse or god forbid if i have surgery again I will flip my shit.
What would you guys do? This lab is one that probably everyone here that has been around the block has used or actively uses.

liftingnutyou arent alone, many people have gotten infections whether from a top rated/ranked source or not. It happens and its part of the risk we take to do what we do. Everything is underground whether youd like to believe it or not. So that needs to be your first understanding. Sources will obviously do everything in their power to maintain a sterile environment and produce clean gear. However there is always that slight chance that a batch can get contaminated. It happens. I always keep anti-biotics on hand for a worst case scenerio that it happens to me, which it has in the past. 500mg amoxicillin is the best even better is 500mg amox with 125mg clav-acid to break down basterial walls quicker thus killing the infection... the second sounds like a sterile abscess which can take a short or long period of time to dissipate depending on how your body and immune system is handling it, everyone is different... if you are worried with this lab now just try a new one.. mentally thats what i would do due to the fear of going thru that again but its a personal choice that only you should decide on. best of luck bud!
This second infection was a sterile abscess. Not infected. but my body rejected it none the less.
AnonIf the infection is too deep in the muscle he WILL be cut open by a team of internals that the ER will likely call in.. But it depends how deep. If it has spread deep within the muscle they will likely put him down and cut out a portion of the muscle in attempt to control it. Hopefully being pro-active with antibitoics is enough where they can just drain it. Go to the ER bro, don't try to do this shit at home unless you or a family member is a highly skilled medically oriented individual. An infection like this can sometimes pull about 20CC of puss/blood.. let an expert do it.
Muta, I am going to the doctor tonight. And you know exactly what you are talking about. That is exactly what happened to me. And i had a cup and a half of fluid come out of my arm after only 3 days.
AnonGreat to hear bro; don't take this lightly! have a trained professional rid you ENTIRELY of the infection. Skilled surgeons even end up getting people infected at times, so why someone would think this is at an home fix, is beyond me. I've seen this quite a few times and am happy you're taking the affirmitive action

I don't want to slander a reputable brand that no one seems to have an issue with besides me.
They also agreed to send me two more vials of the same product.
Can we please get a lab name? You have every right to tell us.
cdaddy7It's obvious that you do not need to keep injecting yourself at this point...you need to stop your cycle and take ur antibiotics and let ur body heal and immune system strengthen back up.....you need to recoup and regroup....your health is the most important thing at this point not muscle hypertrophy...you can alway make a come back....that's the glory of muscle memory....take care of urself and this infection issue first....and to add u do have a duty to inform the community of this gear if you can link it directly to your infection....good luck and I hope u have a speedy recovery
tread-mI agree with BB below 100% but also I'd like to know what sort of surgery you are referring to? I've seen where you would self draw the infection by aspirating it out early on while antibiotics take control but why a surgery, what sort of infection are we talking about here? If you do think you are infected again, I'd personally run a pin in dead center of the infection and aspirate it to see if you can draw infection and know. If it is infected and you draw out a red tinted milky puss then I keep that infection drawn to let the antibiotics do their job. When you wait on these things they get worse but what did they surgically do just open you and clean it out?

tread-mHmmm...not sure what scenerio would cause them to open. I've walked a couple people through drawing it out a couple times while antibiotics take over, just allowing much of the infection to be drawn out helping with the ratio. The tunneling makes sense if that was the case though . Just had to woder there initially if there was any need for an incision. Thats one reason I think you check it through drawing at a suspected infection early to quickly identify and get on meds before it manifests into something worse than a simple infection. What are your thoughts there?
cdaddy7If it was a tunneling abcess they def would cut him open but post op he would be packing that wound with an iodoform gauze...u can actually check that suspected abcess like that but u need to be real careful and use a good aseptic technique with betadine and alcohol at the site with a fresh sterile needle and syringe....they also must gently aspirate so the don't damage the good tissue surrounding and spread the infection...definitely if an abcess is expected I would start an antibiotic like amoxicillin and finish the whole round so that he doesn't induce a bacteria resistant strain that would require more stronger antibiotics...and remember antibiotics wipe out good and bad bacteria flora and that's what gives us the horrible runs

cdaddy7Just be careful with this drain technique...tunneling abcesses are serious and tough to heal brother....no more pinning any gear of any kind until u completely heal is my advice to u ...good luck to u bro
there is a difference between "bunk" gear and getting infections from the gear... sounds like the supplier thinks it might be a bad batch .. bunk is a whole other issue and if it is a top five supplier they aren't putting out bunk..
your correct, sorry i mis-used these terms. regardless the same theme holds. I got sick from bad gear.
You have an obligation to say which lab it is bro, you wouldnt want others going threw what you just have would you? and why would you pin the same shit again?

Checked your forums and ratings. Thats why its suggested in rules to not rate til you use. Now others will use same gear. Hope you heal fast! Definitly switch supplier!
Surprised more people who were so curious as to whom it was didn't do the same thing as you. And you are completely right fast.
Good friend of mine lost 60% of his left bicep due to an abcess from dirty gear. That shit is scary lookin too... I wouldn't chance it for a single vial of crap.
Wow bro IMO I would no pin that shit anymore! Not worth the risks of infections and winding bac on the operating table! I would def shit can the gear that u been using and take some time off to let your body re cooperate from what's it been thru I know it suck but, not worth the risks! I have seen 2 peeps in the last 24hrs who also are dealing with near death experiences! Be safe bro!
