High Red Blood Cell Count

ad

My Dr doesn’t know I use gear and my blood work cane back with my red blood cell count 3x higher than normal. Is there any way to correct this without stopping pinning?

Consider donating blood. When you do, tell them you want to do a double red cell donation (sometimes referred to as a power red donation).

Nobody can say for sure if your blood will get thicker—but chances are it will. All anabolic/androgenic steroids increase RBC as part of their effect.

You must manage it just as everyone else does…

Hydrate well 35-50ml/kg DAILY
Omega-3s, citrus bergamot, nattokinase, vitamin E and other supplements (do your own research)
Keep cardio in your routine
Monitor blood pressure and hematocrit (bloodwork is king)

Donate blood only if necessary—don’t make it a habit. Your body doesn’t know if the blood loss was intentional or from trauma—it will ramp up production again to compensate. It might lower RBC short term, but long term it can create a rebound effect. Use it as a tool, not a solution.

If you’re not comfortable with the risks or how your body might react, it’s totally fine to hold off. There’s a lot of gray area in this game—and in the end, only experience will show how your body responds.
