Help me build a good workout for my upcoming cycle

ad

Hey guys.. In a couple weeks ill begin my next cycle..

Test e @ 500mg a week for 12 weeks
NPP @ 300mg a week for 10 weeks
Dbol 30mg a day as a kickstarter week 1-4

For a long time I have done push pull legs and seen good progress but want to try something different.. Something that hits every single muscle hard atleast once a week. Im looking to gain 20 lbs of lean muscle this cycle as it is only my 3rd cycle. Any suggestions on what my calorie intake should look like?

Any input is welcome. thank you

Just do 531 building the monolith or big but boring. Eat eat eat. Dont over complicate this. Stick to a proven program.

Hit it hard, eat like a horse and sleep a shit ton.

All of these guys pretty much covered the bases. My little bit of input is...say you're hitting chest, bb flat bench. You have a massive pump and then move into flies and just aren't feeling it. There is no harm in continuing back to flat bb bench for the duration of your chest day sets till complete. What Im saying is sometimes you can be doing a certain lift and its just clicking. Feeling strong, pumped, the mind connection with the muscle is sharp. Go ahead and keep hitting that lift. No need to always move onto another move just for the sake of doing a different exercise. Those days come occasionally for me where for some reason a certain lift is hitting on all cylinders...moreso than usual. When it happens...ride that lift till the wheels fall off!

Everybody is different. What lifting regimens are u accustom to? Also, ur stats reveal a possible endomorph frame. Do u gain easy or are u a hard gainer? What is ur BF%, just guessing?? Then, whats your goal? Do u wanna lose weight, gain mass, decrease body fat, or stay the same.

Mass comes with 6-7KCAL per day. Sure u can do it with less, along with a killer macros, but thats just an idea. Mass comes with a pyramid routine, as well. Yes u can put mass on by doing straight sets, but thats not really the.way to do it. The next thing is compound lifts should/could be incorporated into ur lifting regimen. Three times per week i am doing squats, dead lift and bench.press, plus all the other lifts that are isolated and/or a mix of lifts that target one to three muscle groups.

So there are a lot of factors to take into consideration. Believe it, or not, AAS represents a small piece of the puzzle (30%). But only when all other factors are spot on, is when the gains u make, are the gains you keep...

Okay...we can be a mix of body types, too. I am ecto, but meso runs in the family on dads side. Nonetheless, pyramid regimen would still work for you, along with min-mod cardio and calories/macros titrated to meet ur goals

From your earlier post...this many calories would be fine, along with cardio and lifting, which will help u achieve ur goals..maybe not 20lbs, but for sure 10lbs and get down to 10% BF...

Do u have some BF% calipers?

Can u give us an idea of how, what and when u eat?

Good deal. Have u reached a resolution and decided what ur lifting regimen will be?

20lbs of lean muscle????? Dont set your goals so high bro. Thats a tall order...not realistic in my mind. Do you realize what 20lbs of lean muscle looks like or tequires to build? As far as a workout routine...look into Dorian Yates routine "blood and guts". I used it a year ago or so and had great results

X3 on Yates regimen. Im 47 and still use it today. sitting at 275 at this point at 6'0 . Food food food and did I mention food?

His stuff is kick ass...i timed most of his work outs and they are all around 60min...good bulker mass indulged lifting regimens that sneek up on u and make ur dreams come true...

I'll tell you from personal experience Dorian Yates was never in the gym for 60 minutes. About half of that typically.

Oh cool...even better...kudos for him....the only routine that was shorter in length off blood and guts that i timed was chest and biceps...it was 45 minutes for me and i am resting and loading weights...so i could see where u say his time was half that...regardless of the time that each blood and gut regimen take...its an awesome workout that has a short duration.

X2..dorian yates blood and guts produces great results..

For starters you wanna hit every muscle hard at least twice a week. You can even go 3 times if you're feeling motivated enough. I used to do half my body every other day, 2 a day workouts 6 days a week. Definitely don't believe in overtraining, especially when you're on the shit.

X2...def agree 3 times per week doing pyramid..def dont overtrain and rest...

X2..def agree with you, cat and makwa...
