Halotestin for TRT

ad

So I had a dr appt today and as always the conversation turned to trt. The good doc asked me how it`s going with my injections (200mg/w depo test), to which I promptly replied Oh, you know, its a pain in the ass :)

Much to my surprise, he tells me that he knows of other drs prescribing orals to give patients a brake from the injections. For 8w twice a year, halotestin began as a trt oral to treat hypogonadism, or so I learned today.

Ignorance towards aas within the medical community doesn`t surprise me. Doctors have a million different illnesses/diagnoses to deal with on a daily bases, so I don``t judge them for not knowing all the particulars about every single steroid out there. Having said that, HALO for trt? sounds a bit crazy to me, specially when there's many other safer or less harsh orals one could take as a brake from injections. Like anavar or even tbol.

Which would be your oral of choice for TRT or bridging cycles?

Also, what would be an anavar or tbol dose that would equal 200mg/w depo test?

As always, thanks for the input.

Not sure it was developed as a drug got TRT, doc has got that wrong I think. From what I recall it's initial primary function was to combat delayed puberty.

It appears we are both right Smile From wikipedia:

"Fluoxymesterone (trade name Halotestin) is an anabolic steroid with strong androgenic properties that has been used in the treatment of male hypogonadism, delayed puberty in males, and in the treatment of breast neoplasms in women. It is approximately 5 times as potent as methyltestosterone. The antitumor activity of fluoxymesterone appears related to reduction or competitive inhibition of prolactin receptors or estrogen receptors or production".

To be honest, the last thing I need in my life is to screw up liver in any way, so thanks but no thanks. It was still nice of the doc to offer...

lol, I like where your head is at Smile I really don;t have use for halo, I could care less if my veins show or not. But script var or tbol is def a bonus. Boom!

That's crazy man! Trt is for life. Halo is way to toxic to be using everyday for a month let alone forever. It's one of those my liver is evil and I must kill it compounds. I don't know that there's a good choice of any oral for bridging cycles. It's just not wise at all. But some ppl have said proviron, I've heard var and turinabol. But again, I don't like any of these as an option. Test e or test c during your cruise. If you really hate pinning go with test undecyclate. Once every 2 week injects.

I agree with you nitti, halo for trt is crazy. But looking into the history of it, my doc was right, halo first began as trt drug to treat hypogonadism. It's not used forever, twice a year for 8w max.

I'm with you 100%, trt is for life. I don't mind pinning, but the doc and I discussed the issue of putting over 2200 holes in your muscles from pinning weekly or twice weekly trt for the next 30 to 40 years. That's when he came up with halo....
