I have never donated blood before but was told that they ask if you are using or have used steroids before on the paperwork. I was wanting to know if it's best to lie about it or let them know.

The blood they take from you is stripped of everything after being processed. The questions they ask are protocol. And, KMC is correct....they not only want the blood...they need it. It will save a life.
I lie and say I'm not, why risk anything?
I take a tonne of thyroid meds and Test Cyp, all under doctor's orders. They still want my blood.
Just saying.
