+ 7 Gilberts Syndrome (For the Eq users)

ad

After reading Mates thread on “too much Eq” I thought I would throw this out there. There is a hereditary condition called Gilberts syndrome that affects about 5% of the population (including yours truly). It is not something found on a standard blood panel, it’s not symptomatic, and in fact one could go an entire lifetime and not even know they have it.

What is Gilberts syndrome? In a nutshell it’s a condition that expels an excess of RBC. To most it is irrelevant but to lifestylers (especially the Eq users) it should be relevant. You don’t want to be creating hemorrhages like Mate had.

Personally, I love it. It’s like natural blood doping! LOL! But that is because I am aware of what I have and act accordingly. I still like to use Eq I will give you MY solution – When using Eq (usually 800mg EW) I keep an eye on my RBC and when it looks as if it is getting a bit high I expel some blood. I have friends in the medical field and when asked they supply me with blood donor bags. I tap a vein and dump a pint or two EOW (if/when needed) and have them dispose of it for me. Now to some this may seem extreme but it’s just a way for me to stay in the game and run the cycles I want to run.

Now for all of you guys that like to run Eq (and run it at high doses) I would suggest having a specific blood panel run for Gilberts. I know it’s only 5% but can you really afford NOT to?

Please be responsible with your AAS usage, those that are not help keep the stigma alive.

Nice, thank you for posting your personal experience! I'm about to rip into an EQ cyp cycle and it's great to read about all this info!

I wish I had access to blood labs in my state, the closest lab is over 2500 miles away. Sucks doping in the dark, I never know if my estrogen is too high or low. Oh wellz. I hope I don't have Gilbert grape syndrome, I'm gonna blast EQ next cycle at 800mg/w

Google ZRT labs bro, should be helpful, at least for testosterone and estrogen testing, even igf-1.

IF you do have Gilberts syndrome and/or polycythemia vera blood disorders, blasting EQ at 800mgs a week is a fine way of finding it out. Just some friendly advice for you, make sure you have a good supply of reading material with you, Mate. It was the one thing I wish I had when I was laying up in the I.C.U bed because of my lack of knowledge and self-imposed ignorance. Stay safe

VERY nice share, Mate.

The more INFORMED information we can share with our brothers and sisters, the safer we can help to keep each other.

Gilberts just makes me jaundice. This is only a concern with EQ or all AAS compounds?

J.Mc.'s picture

All AAS increase RBC's but EQ does it more so than others so to answer your question I'd be concerned with any AAS use regardless of type.

Muffins's picture

I know they increase RBC. I'm just confused cause I've never heard shit about Gilberts causing RBC issues. I was just told you'll get jaundice sometimes maybe tired more frequently than others. A symptomatic my ass. I need to go do some research.

HllwdBdBoy's picture

I've had it my whole life bro and only found out by random chance.... Not a single symptom, no jaundice, no fatigue. I can't speak of the whole Gilbert's collective, only giving my experience

Thanks for the information I feel more informed after my internet research, prompted by your post. I found out when I fasted for a blood test.

Sit down with a twelve pack of pop and drink away, you'll be jaundice by the end of it. Im a huge pop junkie and noticed yellowing of my skin for years before I found out.

I figured it was something like that but I wasn't going to say anything LOL

Quite interesting, i was having a talk w/ a friend about EPO and he said that it increase RBC insanley compared to EQ, gotta watch out for that too i guess

Broctavius's picture

Yea lance armstrong got his resting heart rate down to 30bpm with EPO. It's insane for endurance athletes, and dangerous sometimes.

J.Mc.'s picture

Thick blood is hard to pump ;)

J.Mc.'s picture

EPO can be downright dangerous. FREQUENT blood monitoring is needed before the start and weekly while doing it. Yeah it's a lot better at boosting RBC'S without the associated weight gain of EQ

This is a great advice, and I have been having it done for that very reason also when running other gear that raises my RBC to questionable levels. The RBC should be a major concern of all aas users, it is always good to see the information that actually keeps others healthy and alive not just big and ripped! +2

I tried to get my wife to bleed me but she said no go...

J.Mc.'s picture

I'd be scared mine would take more than she was suppose to, lol

Harley1969's picture

I'm injecting my wife with a very low dose of test so if she was to do that to me she might get some tren instead of test. Purely by accident of course.

Good info that peeps should be aware of.

What? A pint every other week! thats insane I think you're only supposed to donate every month and a half at the most.

HllwdBdBoy's picture

thats when I'm using eq and when my RBC goes through the roof bro. I do panels EOW... read the thread I have a condition LOL!

Broctavius's picture

Hah it just seems extreme to me, but i see where it says if needed now.
