And we at eroids (mods and members who help) have a harder task matching a user to a previous account. So we are combining the list publicly where your handle is cross referenced by the sources to ban you from any promo offered by anyone.
So now you can play the game by our rules, or risk not playing at all.

I think we all know "free gear" isn't working the way we want (on many levels).
Discounts would be better, loyalty programs would require a source to keep records of you.
I'm not sure what the answer will be, ..... but something needs to change.
Full disclosure: I took part in a discount promo 6 years ago , bought and left a review. And applied for one this year and got a $100 coupon code that I still haven't used.

AnonI wonder how many people are here to just get free promo stuff? Most of these guys probably carry around that 6 month expired free big Mac coupon and try to pursaude the cashier to take it.
I've been here going on 7 years now and have never had anything to do with a promo personally. I hear the word thrown around but I'm not even sure how that stuff works. I just buy what I want, never look for handouts. I was given some free gear once due to a mixup, they sent they wrong thing, but even then I actually offered to send them their shit back lol. Just wanted what I paid for. I don't even trust grown men who chase free stuff.
Here is a reflection of the values our promo whores have. These numbers were shared by a source.
Keep in mind sources will stop doing anything that proves to be unprofitable in the long run and the numbers don't show any return customer purchases that came from a promo even without a reviews. It is also a way to clear old stock and stock that isn't moving off of the shelves.
Still it's rather eye opening how many feel entitled to free stuff.
We have offered many promos but most of them never return back with any feedback not even a 'thank you'
Out of 10 promos.
First 7 promos = 2100 vials and free shipping to 700 persons.
Last 3 promos = 610 vials and free shipping to 300 persons.
Sub total: 2710 vials with free shipping.
1000 people participated in our promos and we have only received 78 reviews from start to now.
Anon78 reviews probably only brought a few new customers as well. That's a ton of gear to just part with for free, and not even a thank You?

Exactly. Get some skin in it and hope you get good stuff. Then you will be a repeat customer. If it's crap review and argue with the source for a couple weeks til everybody is bored with it and move on. Not like I have any experience with that. Lmao
Many sources are no longer running promos and it is no wonder why. I don't blame them.
We both know if there were no freebie promos for 60 days we would lose 40% of the si pickle smooches.
Free samples have a way to get customers but to be honest it's a small number. My wife did a free sample for her business and gave away 1000.00 worth of product. She only made back about 100.00 from 2 people who made a decent purchase. So out of 40 people 2 purchased. Lucky for her she only lost a couple hundred but it's a business write-off. I guess the morale is everyone wants what my wife sells but they want it for free. She isnt doing it again, she is just offering Percentages off.
Using free promos to gain market share is a smart if you are effective in targeting your market segment.
The problem, to me and I don't know much about historically how promos are run, when you offer credit and shipping for an amount that covers 50% of your catalog, you will get people abusing it often.
If they were interested in gaining new customers, then offer percentages off orders and even better, a loyalty program for repeat customers, like some sources do now but not most.
Or, offer a complete cycle to 25 people who will commit to document their cycles for that source. I'm not saying thats the correct approach, but its just a thought to maybe making the system a bit more honest for whats its meant to be used for. If people see that a source is sending out great gear with documented results, the original intention of this site, they will respond in kind with dollars. So far when a promo goes out, all we see most of the time are people posting in gear pics.
When any business discounts their items constantly, customers will often wait for those sales or will ask for discounts if they think the actual value of the product is lower, simply based on the pricing set by the source. Thats the danger with always offering a sale, people just think your products are cheap and the normal price is the discounted price. Some sources are on year round promos + sales, what about the quality of said gear? We see promos go out, but not alot of info coming back.
What sources should do, IMO, is rename their "promos" to "sample dose". Its basically the same thing as what they offer now because most of the credits or offers are for 1/4 of a normal dose, like one bottle of test, one blister pack of orals etc. In most cases, its not enough to offer a review so what exactly is the promo for?

And we are debating going further with it. We used to have a subforum for just sources and may have to activate one again. Just using these cats usernames is not enough. Sources need actual info to protect against these guys.
And therein lies a problem, a source that has never dealt with you, could still have your information.
You can't even limit it to the house number and zip code,.......... I know that combination where I live yields only 2 houses, and I'm one of them.
