from bitchin cycle to bitch in 45 days..
recently, i ran my second cycle- test/deca, with a prop kicker, pretty simple, and a great cycle. i have dealt with tendonitis in both elbows for several years now, it had gotten progressively worse... until i discovered the wonderful healing powers of deca- by week 7 of my 12/14 week cycle i felt great, no pain, bench went through the roof i could do dips again without cringing in pain.... and then came post cycle- i followed protocol, and kept a decent amount of the weight i had gained on cycle- by week 3 of pct the tendonitis was back and worse than ever- after i was finished with pct (ended up staying on pct for 5 weeks just to be safe, it was a long cycle...) its back and worse than before. i took a couple weeks off hoping that the rest would do me some good, but it was to no avail- tonight was my first night back in the gym after an almost 3 week hiatus, and its definitely still there, only this time it gets so bad the lower part of my arm goes numb..
i will be taking around 5 months off before running another cycle- i got shut down pretty bad from the 14 weeker, and dont want to run my hpta through that again for a while... my question is, for those of you who deal with tendonitis, what works for you? is GH the answer? i thought about running 2iu's gh starting 3 months before my next cycle- which will be a cutter- and run it for the 3 months prior to the cycle and for the duration of the cycle and pct .. thoughts?? will i see any positive benefits from 2iu's/day? is it worth it? what would you suggest?
thanks

deca doesnt heal tendons, look into tb-500
Okay, I guess I should contribute.. I'm on test/deca and I'll try not to exaggerate but my rows have gone from 165 lbs to 210 lbs repped. My bench has went from 245 rep to 295 rep. Even with the deca my joints feel..DEAD. Absolutely dead. My tendons flare up every now and then, fortunately for the deca.
What I'm trying to get at is that we lift more than we should and thus we hurt ourselves, especially from boosted confidence. Ask me 8 weeks ago if I'd attempt 295 lbs on bench press. I'd tell you "in my dreams." I'm doing it. Obviously my brain knows I shouldn't be, otherwise I wouldn't ache for a week afterwards!!
BostonI believe Hollywood spoke of the healing powers of deca for the joints. But the way he talked, its really more of a masking effect that deca has. The problem is that you get incredibly strong while on test on deca. Your lifts go up and therefor are putting more strain on the tendons. When you come off, all that lubrication from the water goes away, and you may not have felt it on cycle, but you have likely done even more damage to yourself from increased poundages. I experienced this problem after my last run. It was a high dose test only run and wow, i got super strong bro and my joints felt great on cycle. Then i came off! Ouch. Ive been hurting ever since.
This is the point. It masks the pain, it doesn't heal. It's going to come back, especially if you start lifting bigger.
