+ 1 Follow up with endo....feedback please
So I seen my endo for my follow up and there's three things bothering him.
-
Low t that's continually on the decline. He wrote me a script of androgel for this. I wanted to recover my natty test but with the other issues I got going on its like beating a dead horse at least until other issues clear up.
-
Low cortisol - dr is going to be admitting me into the hospital for testing. I forget the exact name of the test but I believe he said they inject you with cortisol every few hours and monitor your bloodwork to determine issue. He was going to write me a script for cortisol but since I told him I'm able to workout he decided to hold off for now until testing because the sides can be bad.
-
High prolactin - I have to go for an Mir of my brain and pituitary, he believes there may be a growth blocking causing prolactin to build. I believe theres a strong possibility I have a growth as well due to unexplained vision problems I been having, which is a sign of a possible growth. Worst case scenario here is I would need brain surgery to remove growth, which would be my luck.
I asked him if all these problems are of my own doing and he said he believes no. If I just had low t he said it would probably be because of my past aas use, but with the other problems I have no. His exact words were it just comes down to shit luck, which is the story of my life.
The biggest concern I have is the issue with the high prolactin and possible growth that may need surgery to remove. I just had heart surgery several months back and having the possibility of also having a brain surgery all in under a year is starting to wear me down. I always preach positivity to others when they go through tough times but i been through so much just in the last year alone im finding it harder and harder to stay positive and find the will to fight, im getting to the point of giving up.
I was wondering if anybody else ever had this issue of a growth on pituitary and what was envolved in fixing it. I'd appreciate anybody's feedback who has knowledge or first hand experience dealing with this situation. Right now it's a real stresser for me because I barely just got over recovering from my heart issues and now this.
- oh if anyone's interested the lab work I'm referring to is posted up in my pics section if anyone wanted to take a look. Sorry don't know how to post links with this device I'm using its not mine.

Damn man, that sounds more like my luck. Except my bad luck is with women, that are crazy, that have tried to run me over, and steal all my shit lol.... Real talk to, keep pushing forward homie. I know the struggle, maybe not the same aspect but I know what it feels like to want to give up. The main thing is to turn that fear into strength and keep it pushing, you got this homie. We all a family here
Hitman187Yea females is a whole different story. I dont know how im nothing special but i used to do really well back in the day with little effort, not anymore though. But lately I been out of the game for well over a year, health problems playing a big role but i just get sick and tired of the games and b.s and need a break from time to time.
There is this one girl ive been seeing at my gym for a while that i find attractive due to her looks and dedication to working out but idk havent talked to her much. not sure if shes in to me but there have been more than several times where id catch her sneaking a look at me while i wasnt looking in her direction and as soon as i notice her checking me out shed look away real quick. But who knows guess i just gotta get the balls up one day to find out.
Pituitary adenoma, adrenal insufficiency, and heart failure. Hitman187, I have been through all of it except the high prolactin. You are right to preach positivity. Each roadblock was an opportunity to finally get my health straight and stay on my path. What's the alternative? Feeling shitty and dying anyways? I wasn't going out that way. BTW, I take Hydrocortisone every day, and I have no sides except some minor bloating. I am still training at amateur / near pro level in boxing. The only time it is a problem is when I don't take it as everything aches and gets inflamed. If they start you on it, just remember you have take more when you are sick so the immune system will work properly. Learn everything you can, so you can be your own healer.
Hitman187Thanks bro i appreciate the positive words. I sent you a fr, curious to see how you went about getting the pituitary adenoma fixed and whether you needed surgery. Thanks
Hey brother have you heard anything back yet. You've been on my mind and in my prayers. Hope things are picking up for you.
Hitman187Hey brother thanks for keeping me in your prayers. At this point ive only made slight progress, they've been slacking on me so ive been having to do a bunch of extra work on my end. Originally i was told i would recieve phone calls to for appointment dates of my mri, and corsotropin test. After not hearing anything for over 2 weeks i had to call to inquire about the testing. It took several days of back and fourth trying to get in touch with the right ppl but on Friday i was finally able to get the numbers to set up testing, which i plan to call and set up after the 4th.
Getting my testosterone has been a whole other pain in the ass. Dr. Originally wrote me a script for angrogel pump but it was denied by my insurance because they wanted more bloodwork. Got the blood work and they still denied me for pump but approved me for some generic test gel packs. I received a call from a rep from the doctors office saying everything was g2g and i could pick up my script that day. I went to pharmacy and they wouldn't give it to me said they were waiting on approval from my dr. Apparently now my doctor doesnt want me on the generic for some reason and wants me on the pump. its just been a big pain in the ass having to call my doctors office, pharmacy, and insurance company everyday to try and get updates to figure out whats going on. Thats about where im at with everything nothings been easy and its a big pain in the ass.
My adenoma died and took out my pituitary with it. I didn't notice any difference since I was already on TRT. It was discovered when I switched endocrinologist and got a new MRI. The radiologist said, "What adenoma? There is no pituitary." I didn't care, I had been introduced to a whole new world and way of being thanks to hormones. I am enjoying life now more than ever.
Hitman187Other symptoms ive been getting lately and its happening more frequently - brain fog, dizziness, blurred zision, and it gets to they point i feel like in going to pass out. You experience anything similar.
You check your bp lately?
Hitman187Not since my last appointment and it was fine then. I should definitely invest in a bp machine, my arm doesnt fit in the ones at the pharmacy.
I called my dr and told him about the issues i been having with brain fog, vision, etc. that seem to be getting a bit worse and he said it could all be from the low cortisol and possible growth,
Good call. My BP was way up. HCG helped enormously.
Brain fog, inability to form my self, constant fatigue, and serious anger issues. All of them resolved with TRT.
Hey bro have been reading and looking around for you and i have found a member who has a piturity tumor.
https://www.eroids.com/users/rednblue
I dont know him but maybe you could hit him up.
Good luck.
Hitman187Thanks bro i appreciate all your help and taking the time to look into this for me. I just sent him a fr so hopefully i can get ahold of him to see how his situation turned out. +2 from me.
Keep us all updated on your condition. Good luck.
ShreddedfreddyYes they thought I had a same thing on my pituitary gland as well. The cat scan came back normal. Keep your head up the test aren't even done yet. I understand the anxiety because fuck no one wants to have a brain operation. Everything will workout.
Hitman187Thats great to hear! did you have symptoms of high prolactin, and how did you go about lowering it? Caber didnt seem to work for me.
Im truly sorry for what your having to go through. I know you've hesred it a 1000 times but you have got to find a way or a reason to stay positive. I know it weighs heavy on your mind and it can bring you down. Its also hard on your family wife/ kids if you have any. It breaks their heart to see you hurt and to know that they can't fix you. This is a time for yall to come together as a family and to be a strong support system for one another, there's strength in numbers. I don't know your religious beliefs but you must seek guidance and peace in a higher power of your choosing. A close personal relationship with him can bring you through anything. If you haven't already don't just take the word of one Dr, get a second a third opinion as with your heart surgery this to may or may not be as complicated or server.. You will be in my thoughts and you will be in my prayers. I will ask for a healing prayer to be cast upon you from the members of my church. I wish you all the best luck and a speedy recovery.
Hitman187Thanks bro, i appreciate your kind words and positivety. Your rite I need to fing a way to bring positivety back into my life, ive lost it over the year. Since November i been in hospital and rehab more than ive been home, and im not exaggerating one bit. Just the thought of another hospital stay is making me sick. So of course now i always assume worse. Hopefully ill find a way to regain a more positive way somewhere along this journey.
You will bud you will. Just focus on family and lean on each other. Continues prayers for you and your family.
Could I ask you how old are you? Life is filled with pain, by truly accepting this you can find the strength and reason to go on. I'm saying this because I think that with the right will power you can overcome this situation. Talking about other things, I personally don't like androgel as replacement, about the growth I suggest you to wait for proof. I personally have had a lot of bad experiences with docs so I would go slow in concerning myself, just my opinion, I hope your doc isn't as the ones I've seen . Good luck btw.
Hitman187Thanks brother, Im 30. Your rite i should wait for proof before worrying about it, ive just had such bad luck i expect the worst.
srt8calihey bro,
sorry to hear you're going through a lot. if it helps, my older cousin had a tumor in his pituitary that had to be removed because it was blocking signals to his testes to produce oh. I guess it's similar to yours just a different hormone involved. His brain surgery was over in 20 minutes. They just put him to sleep and stuck a device through his nose to eliminate it. That was because it was under 10mm. I think that's the threshold that determines if they go through your nose or head. i am going to hope yours isn't over 10mm too as it makes me uncomfortable to think they will have to go through the side of your head. more nerves there etc higher risk of something happening. hopefully nothing does. good luck on everything. mri should be able to determine the size of the block if there is one. and if it's small you have nothing to worry about.
Hitman187Thats what i wanted to hear, my doctor told me the samething basically, and whats happening to me. Growth is blocking hormones and the growth itself is most likely creating the prolactin. Im hoping once this is fixed my natty test will rebound, right now its continually getting lower after being off cycle many months.
How long was his recovery from the surgery?
srt8calia few days!
Nothing major at all brother
Hitman187Ok thanks thats a bit of a relief i can deal with that, now i just have to hope its small enough to be removedthrough nasal passage. Do you know the cause of your cousins?
srt8calibtw,
his LH and low T sky rocketed after the surgery in just about a week. hoping to hear a happy ending for you too
Have you taken a fair amount of clomid in over the years??
I know heaps of ppl on heaps of forums who get the vision problems and migranes etc either long term or short term, immediate or way down the track. Ocular migranes, night blindness etc
Im going to be optimistic for you and say you will likely be fine.
You might have to inject test for the rest of your life but the rest i reckon you will be lucky and will sort itself eventually.
People forget we fuck with our brains, cns etc etc we tend to focus on liver and kidneys.
Doctors dont even have the answers in alot of these cases, sometimes we dont even know what we are putting in our bodies.
Either way keep getting checked and doctors etc, i hoping you will be fine.
They can only go on what the tests show.
One time when i nearly died from an injection to my glute i was rushed to hospital and had no pulse when i got there.
I had a full team of specialists sorting me out and they were so worried about it all not only from the infection but all the other crazy shit going on inside of body from all the drugs.
I was close to death, i was on 5 different steroids back then plus letro, liver supps fucking eveything.
They were convinced i was going to die, have a stroke/ heart attack etc etc
I was out 11 days later and the test they done day one to day of discharge were totally different, i discharged myself but that whole team of doctors were still scratching their heads and didnt really know fuckall about it all.
Obviously the infection which was staph/ cellulitis then septisimia thet fixed but really had no clue on the steroid side of things.
Especially tren.
Good luck mate
Hitman187Thanks brother. Ive used clomid several times, never got carried away with it, longest ive used it in one shot is 6 weeks for pct. Im aware it can cause vision problems while using it but i didnt know it could have long term lasting effects.
Steroids can be crazy you use heroin and that can do damage, especially damage brain cells, but once you stop using and give yourself atleast a year to recover you can regain everything back, even brain function. Alcohol is similar for mild use but with enough abuse over time your fucked for life, all those damaged brain cells gone for good.
Steroids can be used safely and must because they can also cause lifelong irreversible damage, thats why we constantly pound it into guys heads here not to use under 25 and to the ones who dont know jacked shit about gear/ diet and wanna run 5 compounds their first cycle because they think it'll make them big.
About brain I think that there's only one steroid that has been proven to damage brain cells in hippocampus... And we know its name very well. Test alone with his metabolites has even positive effects in reversing cognitive decline. If you are talking about addiction then I quote every single word but that is another thing.
Testosterone at supraphysiological levels causes early cell death of neurons.

I saw one study where all current and former AAS users' spatial memory recall was on par with dementia patients.
The only ray of hope I found is calcium channel blockers were shown to block the effect.
Lots of studies done between T levels, intelligence and neurodegeneration (there are many confounders though I admit). However, in general the correlation between T levels and beneficial effects on CNS is u-shaped. too low is bad, while too high is just as bad.
Could you link something please? I've never heard any correlation between high test and neurodegeneration...
Damn man your young as hell too hope you get better bro
Hitman187Thanks bro, something good is bound to come my way soon, ive been down with shit luck so long now i cant get much lower, only place to go is up.
That's right man keep your head up
Damn I thought you were facing not being able to recover and thats bad enough now all this.
I want to ask I believe from what I read your doctor doesn't believe that whats happening is from any compounds you took no gh no Nandrolone or anything of that sort. It basically comes down to hereditary issues?
I wish you the best brother hopefully it turns out not to be something as bad as the doctor is thinking. I will say be more positive I know its hard but your body responds to the chems released in your brain. Staying positive will honestly help you.
I know its not easy but keep your head high brother. Your a strong eroids member.
Hitman187Yea thats all i thought it was at first to just not being able to recover, come to find out theres alot more going on. From my doctors own words its nothing i did just comes down to shit luck. Im trying to put on a positive face its just getting alot harder these days.
I can only imagine brother hit me up anytime if you need anything
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Hitman187Thanks brother
Prayer's brother!
Hitman187Thanks brother prayers are much needed
Shit luck yes, but very probably good luck in having a competent doctor who is willing to get specialists involved to figure it out. Thats a great thing.
Wishing you the best man, chin up as you will close the year out strongly when you sort this out
Hitman187Thanks bro i appreciate the wishes. Your rite though atleast i have a competent doctor who seems to be going the extra mile to help me out. Ive told countless dr's about the floaters and vision problems and they all brushed it off like it was no big deal.
Its crazy really isn't it.
I have a healthy disregard for the general practice medical profession at the best of times, but when you find a good doc it's a solid thing. Particularly when they have a sense of pace and urgency and can put their hands up and reign in some help.
Hitman187Agreed. My dr seems very knowledgable hes able to answer anh question i have and will even take the time to draw out diagrams for me to understand easier. Most important hes nonjudgemental
When you say vision problems what exactly is wrong?
I too have had some vision problems lately
Hitman187At first id start seeing floaters, more so in the peripherial vision of my left eye. Idk if you've ever used a grinder before but them sparks that would fly is the best way i can describe what i see. Its starting to progress lately ive been getting times where id lose part vision in my eyes, more so with my left. This usually only last for a few minutes. Its hard to describe this, the best way i can say its a temporary lose of part of my vision in eyes..Kinda see grey and its so blurry you cant see out of the part of your eye its happening in., its kinda similar to what would happen if you went in a swimming pool with way too much chlorine how that blurs your vision.Sorry hard to put in words exactly.
This is what I'm experiencing also....the floaters are constantly there in both eyes. I haven't experienced the sparks tho but I have had the vision loss but I keep putting that down to the beginning of a migraine.
Keep us all posted buddy best of luck
