Fellow Competitors Please HELP!!!
I finally landed my dream job at an architect firm. Negative about this is during my prep for you guys that have seen my post know I’m 3 weeks out from my show. So like my fellow competitors know when you have this amount of time before your show youll be consuming fish like no tomorrow. This is my first office job and I’m so used to eating this type of food that I didn’t process the smell of fish, especially if you use the office microwave. After that I started going to the nearest gas station to be able to heat my food. I thought since I didn’t use the office microwave I would be ok but the owners wife has the smell of a k-9 shes the one always giving me look and complaining to the point that she told the husband – my boss – to tell me something. So after that I kept going to the gas station let it cool on the way back to where its not releasing the smell but not cold to where I cant eat it. Shes still complaining about it because it smells in my office? Well don’t come in? haha point is that I have no idea what to do now because I still have 3 weeks left of eating fish.
If anyone has been through this with a tie wearing job please send me some advice in how to do this the last thing I want to do is have to decide in the 2 things that I love, my job and this beautiful sport.
I was thinking of buying my own microwave and setting it up in the little warehouse that we have in the back of the office but what if she still complains. Last thing I need is to stress over anything this far into my prep
Thank you so much for your time and input in this situation
God bless and happy holidays my roid heads

Heat the fish up as you normally do, then place in a McDonalds bag and set your desk... Once the fat bitch sees it's from her favorite hangout, she'll be fine--- may even ask you for a fry or two.
Trophy's do not pay bills my friend, tough bind to be in but get your rhythm at work going first, then fall back to competing. You can always land another comp, you cant always land a dream job.
Perfectly said bro!!
If its your dream job then you should do anything and everything to keep it , if you have to change your diet or eat cold food then do it and congrats for getting the job
Hello Sir,
From your post I can feel you're looking for support as you're tired of the prep.
Anything to do with the contest it's quite simple, you have to do what it takes, if that means eating cold food under your office table, let it be it. We all know how hard it is, especially towards the end of the prep when you slowly start hating the life in general.
But I am quite sure all eRoids community is here to support you Sir. We would love to see you succeeding and winning your show therefore you have to stay strong and go through all the struggles to succeed.
When I get to this stage of the prep I normally think of the other athletes that are going to compeat against me and I am sure they are doing everything possible to win, therefore I have to do more, whatever it takes. Now this sounds like R.Piana
Anyway, stay strong and push it till the end, only 3 weeks to go Sir!!!
Regards
I’m with the others I often eat my food cold as I don’t like irritating others around me.
Also congrats on the dream job I’m 3 semesters out from my M.arch degree.
Heat it up? Lol eat that stuff cold man. Or maybe prioritize work 1st until you get settled in, and then compete once you’ve layed your foundation at work.
Congrats on landing your dream job brother
AnonI would just suck it up and eat it cold and often do, a lot of my job ends up on the road covering 4 states and the best part about winter is I can just throw my food in my truck tool box and it will keep cold until I get to my office, but the other day I had 2 chicken breast in a container with some rice and by the time I got to where I was going (in the middle of nowhere) it was all frozen. I stuck it on the engine block for a few minutes but ate it partially frozen standing in the middle of the woods like a man. I need days like that, because when I get home my man card is left in my truck.
ClassyChassisI hear you. I've eaten more cold food in my life than hot and it doesn't even make a difference to me. Lol, it drives my gf crazy.
AnonI know man, the most important part is to get it in the body, the taste and temp is just an added bonus if you can get them.
ClassyChassisSashimi if you can afford sushi grade. Otherwise use as fresh as possible and wrap it up good in parchment paper when heating it. Also rubbing freshly cut lemon wedges on the fish after heating will help cut the smell. Maybe consider chicken if you can get it without the sodium brine.
Switch to chicken. I know you have time and effort in your show. You look great but your not going for a pro card. If this is your dream job give it top priority even if it means missing the show. Work , family , gym...that’s the same advice I would give my son .
Word.
If the job is important I’d do everything I could to keep that office smelling like daisies.
Go up to her and say your going to tell your boss that she keeps making sexual passes at you and if she know what's good for her she will keep her mouth shut about the fish. Considering your boss isn't bigger then you she will keep her mouth shut cause she probably has mentioned to him that maybe he should get a gym membership. easy peasy bro
Can you eat it cold? Cold and dry, wash it down with some water. What types of fish are you using? Tilapia can be pretty mild, mahi or salmon not so much...
Bosses wife sounds like a piece of work, sorry bout that bro
This was to be my response. I live out of my car during the day and I've grown accustomed to cold salmon. It may sound unappealing to most but I slightly over cook it in the morning. I find that makes it a bit more palatable when cold. I think of it as fish jerky lol. Add cold rice, and broccoli and you're all set.
Sounds like a crappy situation though. You seem committed so I'm sure you will bang through what needs to be done.
Good luck
I eat cold food all the time. Ofcourse I’ll eat damn near anything.
Same, I love my wife dearly but if you ate her cooking for as long as I have...well lets just say the cold salmon jerky didnt start out as something planned. It was just the next meal in a long line of extraordinarily overcooked items. This woman boiled the water out of a pot of eggs and then proceeded to fry the eggs while they were still in the shell. She didnt realize until the house was full of a smell like burnt shit.
Ha! Just did that lad week myself,
Nothing like forgetting boiling eggs and that atrocious smell that lingers for a day or so!
Yuck
I use to do that with smoking weed lol but i quit smoking
going to give that another try tomorrow though, thank you
Yea shes something else bro, driving me crazy.
last thing i want is have a target on my back
