elbow chronic injury is not getting better
My name is Andrew and the last 8 months I am suffering from elbow injury. The injury occurred when I was doing bench press without much plates. Suddenly I notice a weakness and a pain behind my elbow. The same day I ice my elbow and rest it for 4 months....during that time I try Physiotherapy, ultra sound ,ice ,creams, NSAIDS but nothing. The MRI shows olecranon bursitis ( slight fluid) .... and the GP recomend rest. I went to the gym for 2 weeks and try working out. I stopped because i gave only 50% on my workouts, especially when doing push exercises i notice pain in my lateral epicondyles...a weird sensation which goes back low on my elbow. i am waiting this shit to pass and is not getting away. Recently I went to a consultant and recommend MRI again...He told me that is not bursitis because if it was it should be gone by now..I already gave so much money to the doctors. In Uk doctors need a fortune....However i dont even have a health insurance to pay the fees. My GP recommend steroid injection. I read that is not healing is just for temporary pain releive. Anyone experience this type of pain on lateral epicondyles and more pain when doing push exercises? Please any help appreciate.... This is my serious injury and i cant maange it to get back to the gym

Peptide tb500 does miracles
Something I have to try for some nagging injuries.
YourdadDIdnt heard about it. thanks...I will try find out more about it. I done a little HGH cycle to help me heal but seems HGH is not helping in my case
I have had lateral epicondylitis in both elbows. Seemed like a chronic condition not going away anytime soon. I rested. I did everything and nada. So, finally, in desperation, I asked the doc for cortisone shots. Directly into the elbows. At last, relief. It's been over a year and it's still holding. Guess it did heal at some point. LOL

Cortisone is not advisable because over time with repeated use it tends to weaken tendons. That said, when I look at the big picture of my steroid use, not going to worry about cortisone.
Yourdadcortisone shots are my last hope. There is nothing else I can do according my research. The next step is surgery. However I want to avoid cortisone shots and, I skip a lot appointments for a steroid injection...Basically i am sitting there waiting and being lazy to get back tot he gym. All those years I learn that lifting with pain is not something smart
Thank you for your response m8..appreciate it
Dmiller07Lateral epicondylitis aka "tennis elbow". It really can only be helped by taking around 6 weeks completely off. That's just an estimate. You can use NSAIDs and Price to help with it. Time is really your only friend. It has to do with your flexor muscles and anything with the palm face down. I would suggest after you took the time off to start extremely slow and use a wrap. I would also highly suggest not throwing anything until you get some strength back in your elbow after your time off.
YourdadIn fact I had 8 months to lift.. NSAIDs are not helping
My friend " time " is not helping me get back to the gym
After 8 months I lose probably half of my strength, some inch on my biceps,i cant lift newbiews weights but my size stay the same . I get some fat because I eat a lot of food trying to retain. When i hear people make 2 weeks to go to the gym and crying that they are going to lose muscle I just laugh.Injury shows how your body response without training. This injury shows me that i follow the right path when i decide to done my cycles. I start cycling with a very good " base" it helps. I am sorry for the people that want to cycle at 150lbs etc
