+ 4 Donating Blood And Feeling Great

ad

Man I finally stopped being a pussy and donated blood today.I have a problem with my Vagus nerve so for some reason I pass out when doing Blood work,If I am laying down I am fine.Anyways Just finished and I feel great I had to force myself to do it because My RBC,Hemo was really high So I came to a crossroads Give blood,Or quit using AAS.But, I am glad I did if I feel more energy etc....I just wanted to share and create a forum post to participate and I guess contribute some form of discussion.Anyways what are your thoughts at to why I feel better I have a few theories which I am sure will co sign with some of you....I also forgot to add it is a great feeling to donate blood I think only 5% of The US donates so they are always running a shortage So your helping yourself and saving a life.

I made a post on donating blood and a condition called hemochromatosis..check it out. Would be worth checking yourself just in case it's something you have.

I wanna add a quick note to this thread too. I tend to get light headaches if my RBC's get too high. Donating blood takes away those headaches literally INSTANTLY. My blood pressure is typically 110/70 like clockwork, but can get higher if I don't pay attention to it. Last I looked, it was 140/85, so it was time to donate. After the donation, I was right back to normal the next day.

So, if anyone gets headaches (I admit, they're light, but they're annoying) then perhaps your RBC's are a little high. Donating blood is therapeutic for this reason. I hope this helps other men make the smart decision to DONATE!

This is me mate.....I also feel like throwing up for a few hours after donation.

Best thing to do is have some juice and chocolate right after this takes the edge off

X2 I felt like crap! The good feeling is the feeling knowing you've helped someone less fortunate than yourself.

Yes sir, for sure if you’re RBC are high it makes you feel so much better afterwards. Especially on Eq! I donated right before cycle & will donate 8 weeks in & maybe do a double RBC donation.

You should look into donating double red cells, they take out twice the red cells and return electrolytes into you. This helps with the light head fainting issues.

Man I feel good I just donated yesturday. It's because you blood is not as thick. My hematocrit was at 50 when I donated if it lowers it down to 47-48 in happy. How high was your humatocrit or RBC?

speed4goal's picture

Glad you got the nerve up ajd donated look into doing the double red cells. Irs only like a 20gauge needle ajd they return the platelets abd plasma back to you and take twice the red cells which they need more of. And being on AAS you want lower. Supposed to do the double reds once every 4 months I do it every 4-6 w eeksm there are 4 blood places by me and they dont share info only know the last time I gave to them. Ill be giving twice in thr next 4-5 weeks. I crank out some serious rbc. I get sleepy and headaches and such when it gets high. Habe superhuman blood that replenished quicker than normal people. I trt when off so still makes my h emocrit high. But look into the Alyx double red cells machine. Kuch smaller needle and the amount of blppd volume the take. Its replaced with saline solution

Trapsquatch's picture

I got to looks into that I am just tying to get over the fear completely so Now that I have done it once I will try one double red's hopefully I just chicken out at the thought of getting stuck 2x's LoL thanks for the info

speed4goal's picture

No bro you dont get stuck twice. The return comes through the same line. Its a much smaller needle it draws blood out the machine separates it. It draws ans returns 3 times and your done. Takes abkut 25-30mins. It will draw process then send platelets plasma and saline solution into you then it eill draw more blood and go again. Much smaller needle and twice the red blood cells gone. Its like a 20gauge its not a harpoon like donating regular blood

Trapsquatch's picture

Right on man Thanks Gonna go give it a shot in a couple months Unless my blood work says I need to go sooner

LoL I am glad you know where I am coming from...I had to take a xanax before I went to calm my anxiety I did Not want to pass out either I have been there done that it is embarrassing and messes up your whole day feeling like crap.I felt really run down Headaches Lack of energy etc after I donated I felt amazing even immediately after I felt so much better it was unreal,It is funny because My anxiety was kicking when they took my blood pressure at it was 171/100 she freaked out and Did it again this time I relaxed took a couple deep breaths and got 112/60 amazing what anxiety will do.Yeah dude I seen that harpoon of a needle as was Like DAMN but I told them to recline me back and I will be good to go.also I heard tensing your leg muscle keeps your blood pressure from dropping which is what causes you to pass out the blood rushes out of your head and "Pools" in your legs so when you flex them it keeps you from going out.LMAO as you can tell I studied my as off trying to find every which way to stay a float while they were sucking my blood hahaha....I feel your pain brotha glad we did it though...Yea guy's will never understand It is not something you can control You can not change thew fact that your vagus nerve get's stimulated all you can do is counter act it Like A Boss LoL

Trapsquatch's picture

I know they test for diseases and such....Yeah It is amazing how much more energy I feel and I faced a fear you could call it by donating so now I am signing up to do it at least 3x's a year

Trapsquatch's picture

You know bro It was that fear of the 14g needle they use LoL I was glad when it was over and xanax really helped me get through it

How can someone find out where they can give blood?

You can have too much iron in your blood. This can make your blood thick and sticky and can cause a couple things; your brain not receiving oxygen at an optimum rate and your muscles not recieving nutrients at an optimum rate either. So reducing iron increase energy, makes you sleep better and theoretically makes for faster recovery. All good stuff!!

Trapsquatch's picture

Awesome bro thank you was thinking the same thing

rt061309's picture

Another benifit is they usually give free cookies after. That's the main reason I like to donate...

Trapsquatch's picture

Yeah I was getting some bad headaches and felt really sluggish for the last 2 months finally decided enough was enough and now I feel amazing...My blood pressure was always good running Test prop,Npp,Var was always pre hypertension range but not bad LoL.I am sure now it will be perfect blood was getting to thick I know for a fact.Even when she pricked my finger my Hemo/iron was at 50% they want it at 39% but then again those finger pricks are never that accurate.

And sometimes its free....lol????

dudebro's picture

your vagus nerve is that the one in your vagina that makes you pass out? lol just giving you shit brotha. i need to donate blood more myself.

Trapsquatch's picture

MedDx's picture

I wanna know if your weight increase after donating. Are you off or on cycle right now??
Glad you donated....if you use AAS I believe donating is a must....imo...

Trapsquatch's picture

Yeah I am off right now,I have been trying to work up the courage to donate due to my Vagus Nerve and passing out.I agree with you if you cannot donate blood then you should not run AAS or at least not EQ or Tren In my opinion. And if you are blasting/Cruising it is a MUST to donate

Trapsquatch's picture

Thank's bro Yeah when they did my blood pressure it was 171/100 but it was due to anxiety I relaxed they checked again and it was 115/60 but man I feel great I usually take 10-15grams of fish oil ED and drink 2 gallons ED so I never really have Blood pressure issues other than when anxiety kicks in =) but I was getting heart palls from I think think blood/anxiety Just a guess
