difference between Bio Identical HRT and seeing a endocrinologist

ad

Hey guys,

So I took one 10 week test E cycle (600mg/week) a year ago. And didn't really PCT properly and basically I fucked up my body.. (Hair falling out like crazy, still after a year of steroids, weak facial hair growth, thin hair everywhere on my body including facial hair is thin, Depression, anxiety, tiredness, low sex drive, etc)

So now I'm seeking professional medical advice regarding hopefully restoring my hormones to the right place.
I've gotten my bloods done after my cycle (test,lh,fsh, estrogen, and TSH,) but they come back to the doctor within "NORMAL RANGE" however it was a 33% drop since my pre cycle Natty bloods. and he knows I ran steroids but he basically says fuck you, prescribes me Anti-depressants, Viagra, and Propecia for hair loss. and tells me come back in 6 months and see if I still have issues..

I insisted to him I want to check my thyroid as I believe it could have been fucked up from the cycle. He just says look your TSH is fine, we don't need to check ur T3, T4, etc. So I told him I wanna see a endocrinologist and he tells me, "for a patient like you, it's going to be at least a year before you can see one."

So I did more googling and came across this Bio Identical HRT things with a doctor. This is the website I was interested in. http://mytruebalance.ca/bioidentical-hormone-replacement-therapy/ .

The downside is its $350.00 the first appointment and then $175.00 after that. But at this point, money isn't really of concern as I want to fix my life back to normal.. Anyone have any experience with this HRT approach?

My overall question to you guys is, whats the difference between seeing a Bio Identical HRT Doctor and an endocrinologist?? Do they both check for the same problems and use the same protocols to fix me etc?

Thanks

(copying from my other post I had in the PCT section of the forums)
Hey guys just wanted to give a quick yall and update for those who may have similar problems or anything.

So all I did was run clomid @ 100mg/day for 10 days. I instantly (like the next day felt WAY better, I thought it could be placebo so I didn't wanna start saying much. Anyways after the 10 days I waited about another 10 days and got bloods run, my Total T came back at 50!!! (Range is 9-27) my doctor is like... WTF are you on steroids? I just told him I'm taking natural test boosting shit from GNC basically, hes like okay...

Anyways, it's been like about 3 weeks now since I stopped the Clomid, 100mg/day. Feel fucking soooooo much better.... My facial hair is back on point like growth wise. I'm horny as shit like constantly, I absolutely love women again (which I always used to) and I'm taking absolutely nothing right now other than Vitamin D.

I really fucked up taking the bloods that soon after the Clomid but I didn't really have a choice (personal life issues going on) but whatever, I know I feel good, my appetite is outstanding, even in the gym I have hella energy.

So all and all, if you forget to PCT boys, I don't think it can be too late, run it!
Lesson learned for me big time. Cheers!

EDIT: I'll let you know how my hair growth goes, as well as when I know my TSH, free t3, free t4 levels, etc. As I don't know any of those #'s I only know my total T atm.

bio identical just means that they won't prescribe you synthetic scripts like synthroid is synthetic .. armour thryroid is bioidentical.. premarin is synthetic estradiol is not .... do some more research on PCT using hcg

I would recommend you to stay away from those for profit hrt centers. You'll loose a lot of money.

Second I would do another pct and includes small amounts of hcg, clomid etc

Third I would change the primary doctor or Atleast get a second opinion. If he refuses to help you in the way you need him. Personally I would of turned down all his scripts. I would told him keep your anti D, Viagra and propicia....... Actually I might of kept the Viagra =)

Honestly you still have a decent shot at fixing yourself so don't give up. Trt isn't an easy route man and although I feel way better on it it's literally a pain in the ass and affects your life a lot especially with vacations and traveling. Get some pharma grade serms hcg and/or triptorelin run a good pct and see where you're at with a blood test. If you're still doing terrible after that then look at the more permanent options. Especially at those prices good god... Chances are a good endo will try to restart your hpta anyway at your age.
The clinic you listed simply specializes in hormone replacement therapy for profit and appears to only offer creams which come with their own set of problems for trt. They'll probably be more than willing to work with you to get your cash if that's what you choose.
I've gotten bloods proving a good pct with serms that aren't bunk trash does work to get you back to your natural production and you can run a search here and find tons of guys who have also recovered fine with a solid pct. Propecia is a terrible option for you when you already have low test levels and it's probably making you feel worse. Made me feel awful when I took it and killed my wood. Look into ketoconazole shampoo and minoxidil/azelaic acid and your hair will grow back just fine without destroying your body's dht. Feel free to FR me and ask anything you feel you need to about hairloss trt or pct. I've got experience with all of them and am happy to help.
Good luck to you man I hope it all works out. I've had those sides and I know how much it blows.

Thanks for the support man, check out my latest post, I'm doing well now, I'm very thankful to life for this second chance! Shit was hella ruff!

Or you could just run a real pct once first and see if you can restore. That should be your first step. You come across like you have your heart set on being a HRT patient at 27 years old... Careful what you wish..

Hrt/trt IMO know what they are doing when it comes to low t.
