+ 2 dereliction or just pure ignorance?

ad

i'll never understand the thought process behind some of the people in these forums... people come to this place either for guidance, interest, or simply to help others. what i don't get is how some of you can post a question or a dilemma here, get your questions answered with FACTS not OPINIONS, and then go to another forum and continue to tell people how you're still clueless about cause or the solution.

why even bother asking for help, if you're not gonna acknowledge the help you get? even more so, don't discredit the information you're given simply because the person giving it has a karma too low to meet your expectations. now, i may not have a super high karma, but one thing is for sure; i ain't no dummy - i deal in FACTS.. emperical and objective FACTS.. once upon a time, even the guru's were at the basic level.

much respect goes to the persons that humble themselves enough to acknowledge that they may not have all the answers or that may have a bad idea, and then be openminded to those that give critism and advice. without it, a closeminded individual never grows mentaly, spiritually, or physically.

now... HOW 'BOUT DEM TIGERS??

I hear your aggravation loud and clear. Unfortunately most newbies want to hear what they want to hear, not facts. They want approval for bad decisions and a lot of us older guys are really sick of the ignorance. But we keep pushing forward and pick our battles, the ones that flat out refuse our help I am done with let them learn the hard way but the ones I can save I will go to hell and back to help.

You have to realize that this is human nature to seek out the answers until they find they answer they were looking for ...

You are 100% right. But a person who is REALLY looking for enlightenment will have an open mind and they are far and few.Rule 1 admit you don't know it all, Rule 2 accept advice from those that have been there done that, Rule 3 plan and execute from the information you are given. Taking advice in pieces to build a justification for your actions equals almost curtain failure. Unfortunately it will be 20 years to feel the effects of bad decisions.

Fun isn't it?

It can feel like a thankless task sometimes, but every once in a while you'll get s pm etc from someone you helped showing you pics etc of their gains. Makes it all worthwhile.

Keep helping out, karma doesn't make your opinion more or less relevant. Experience is way more important.

It's sometimes relentless here. But one thing for certain is they return all messed up and then need more help. Others are literally dudes that got banned and come back trolling. Get their target banned or bonked. For them it's a game to piss folks off.
