I have a friend who is running dbol for the first time. Hes 5'10" 185. Hes done 1 previous cycle almost a year ago. Test prop only at 400mgs per week. He gained 20+pounds. But...hes been running 40mgs a day of dbol for 7 days from prolly the most popular source on here and hes up 1 pound. I got the shit for him so hes calling me sayin wtf is going on??? Ive never ran dbol before so i cant give him much advice on whats going on. Can anyone here chime in? I figured hed be up 4-5 pounds by now. Btw hes not yet started an AI and hes running 500mgs of test e along with it. Hes taling in 400 grams of protein a day and a mighty hunk of complex carbs.

Anondiminishing returns... not gonna work the same every time and dosages will have to be increased.. you think the pros run grams of gear because they want to???
I would have to say if hes eating correctly and working hard at the gym it cant be that good of gear...he should of gained that much water weight by now.
UFOYep exactly what house said...give it another full week to really kick it. If hes not up 3-5 lbs at the end of this week then somethings up.
how many carbs? dbol is just a kick start, i would tell him to chill out and give the stuff time to work, if in seven more days if he's not up in lbs then look at the source
BostonHes eating 60 80 grams of carbs per meal and hes eating 6-7 meals per day. I thought the same thing..give it more time! Thanks man.
yea man he def should be feeling the pumps, has the said anything about that? and my bad on the carb thing i was meaning calories?
BostonYes he said hes getting "da pump" but no weight gain at all and not strength increases. Not sure on cals, he just said 400 grams protein and 500-600 carbs..
with that kind of protein and carbs then it should be alot.. i would tell him to wait it out about another week, let the test kick in and he should see some good gains..
