+ 8 Dangerous Trends in AAS Use

ad

There are some topics that have become more commonly seen and discussed that I believe to be dangerous. Also I see fewer guys posting in warning. These topics aren't only perilous to the new user, more experienced user don't seem to be as cautious of them either. As more people than ever are seeking out aas because of the fitness craze that's taken hold in America its more important than ever to give sound advice and be mindful that after someone logs off this site they may actually be applying what they've just read. Something that could have lasting effects on their health. Not just how they will look at the beach in 12 weeks......here are a few of these topics and a little about my concerns on each.

CRUISING, CRUISE/ BLASTING

You will see this topic referred to by both the titles above. A brief description is between cycles instead of proper PCT and adequate time off a person will use a lower dose than what was used on cycle to "cruise" until the next cycle. The logic behind this is you keep your test level hi and lose no gains in between cycles so you will in theory grow more. This can cause numerous long and short term problems. You should be aware of them and prepared to deal with them if you are planning doing it. Under no circumstances should you attempt this until you are years into your aas use and have some advanced cycles to your credit. If you don't fall into that category then chances are you will gain MORE LONG-TERM by using PCT and recovery time between cycles because your body still has untapped potential that could be forever hindered by over use. The cruise/blast might keep you look good now but years from now should you still be dedicated to training you will have robbed your body of some things. The thought that you can just go TRT usually comes in with the cruise conversation and this is also my next topic

Trying to go on TRT for the wrong reasons
If you have been legitimately diagnosed with problems that lead you to TRT you think TRT sucks but your thankful for it. You went through some dark days most likely and finding TRT was a great thing. Its a hassle and the issues that lead you to get on it to start with could still come up but with the care of a Dr you can keep things normal. TRT isn't something you can just stop if you get tired of doing it or you lose your insurance and can't afford the expense out of pocket. Thinking you can just order UGL gear and give yourself injections from now on as sort of a self diagnosed, self administered TRT is just ignorant and dangerous. I fear there are a lot of guys that do this without any bloodwork or medical advice or supervision.

The Cycle with Two 19-Nor compounds Ran Together

There was a time when this topic was talked about as extremely dangerous. I won't say it has become accepted but its definitely more tolerated than it used to be. On boards and in the gym among peers. Also there are a lot of offerings from various labs for hi mg blends offering a two 19-nor mix. You never saw this in the past. I believe 19-nors should be used with extreme care when 1 is included in cycle. Using 2 at the same time I believe is beyond stupidity. Even if you just look at risk vs. Reward and what precautions needed to be taken intra-cycle and post cycle, why would you do it.

There are several other topics that are cause for concern but most are addressed regularly in forums and perhaps these I've listed above in your opinion are talked about and warned of sufficiently. I feel these are worth repeating and keeping the dialog fresh. More and more people are using aas as I said above. Also its much easier to obtain than in the past. People are using these forums (this site as well as others) as their introduction to all things aas. You can't stop them from acting dangerously but at least making sure they have both sides of the coin they know the pitfalls are real. There will always be those that take time to educate themselves and become successful and responsible aas users. Those are the ones we will be depending on to carry on the knowledge we try to provide about the need for patients and safety with aas. I hope this post helps someone make a better informed decision. One that has ramifications on there greatest asset. Their health.

+1 on a great post buddy. I have worked in healthcare since 1996 and on 2 occasions I have seen steroid users in the hospital. Both times it was for abscess in thigh/quad from injections. New and experienced users should make sure they know the proper way to self inject to prevent infection. Its also important to trust your gear, order from a reliable source with a history and quality UGLs. Its always a risk when using UGLs, try and minimize that as best as possible.

I’ve yet to personally witness aas being dangerous in over 15 years of usage. I’m not saying dangers aren’t present, but I feel they are over exaggerated.

It’s all relative. One could get more messed up eating 100 ibuprofen than they could by eating 100 dbol.

IrishJerk's picture

Sing it brother

growthman's picture

I can’t speak for all these fancy new drugs like SD, MT, or M1T as I’ve never used, and only use the basics...but yeah for me moderate to high dose dbol/drol for more than 6 weeks (I wouldn’t run many compounds other than test more than 8 weeks bc I believe they don’t work as well without a break), (MY) liver values are always fine. High dose orals overtime have wrecked my lipids but that’s short term while on the orals and normal for things like anadrol.

Only blood work will tell you brother...

helloBrooklyn's picture

All three of these things are small potatoes compared to the big, big issue.

Flat out using too. Much. Shit.

The single most dangerous attitude to have regarding steroids is “more is better.”

Dextermorganlv's picture

I see so many guys on their 2nd or 3rd cycle with 3 and 4 compounds and well over a gram of gear per week. I bet most people could do just long ester Test at 500 week and still grow for the first handful of cycles.

helloBrooklyn's picture

If someone needs 6,000 calories and he can stomach three, say, 2,000 calorie whole food meals a day, he’ll grow fine. It’s a myth that you need to split up more meals throughout the day. The human digestive system simply doesn’t work that way.

Problem is stomach capacity. How much can you physically eat at one time without getting sick?

helloBrooklyn's picture

Like I said, it’s just not practically feasible. It’s only possible on paper.

stairmaster's picture

The most dangerous "trend" is that people use more and more very high dosages and stacks with too much compounds.

Next dangerous point is that young agers also take high dosages and a lot guys starting AAS abuse already at 18 years or even younger.

Solidly's picture

Yeah I've been surprised at the number of high school athletes that have gotten arrested nation wide because of a steroid related charge. Especially the last 2 years or so.

So many people say taking 2 19-not is stupid/you cant/you shouldn’t...but why? (Just as you mentioned, and again without explanation) There’s never been an explanation. If someone can take 600mg deca, why couldn’t they take 300 deca and 300 tren?

Same logic as taking 500mg test e. Someone takes 500mg of sust, you’re still taking 500mg of testosterone,

Bill G's picture

I asked the same question. Most answers were from fear and not experience. The experiences answers I got made sense. The majority deals with sides of the compound. Tren for example most like low test medium to high tren. Too expel sides. With deca most prefer high test to deal with sides . So if i ran both which would i choose for a test dose. High or low . Both are nandralones but react differently on the body. I've heard success stories of low test high tren with a low dose of deca for the joints. I don't under stand why some one would double the test to cover up prolactin sides from deca when there are DA to combat that. We need test. I've had to learn that I won't say the hard way but I've had to learn that. Even a low dose just for estro conversion and to keep things normal. So I agree that the 19 nors should be allowed to do all the work. But should not be run alone

TrenAllDay's picture

Hollelujah! Haha

Solidly's picture

I don't understand the logic of the comparisons you are using. There are many variables in the things your saying are easily comparable. Maybe its me....why don't you try that which you are so fervently advocating. Get bloods, post a log and lets see what happens.

TrenAllDay's picture

What am I advocating? I mentioned earlier I’ve never even used deca. My post was simple which bill g caught, I said there’s never explanation why(in your original post as well) using them together is so horrible and detrimental to ones body, it’s always the tyipical answers of “prolactin issues” and heresay. I bet 1 guy prone to prolactin issues tried tren and deca together then had a prolactin flare up, went on the boards and said “don’t use tren and deca together because it will cause crazy prolactin sides” then that shit went forum to forum and now that’s what everyone thinks. It’s individualized and that would probably happen to a small percentage of people

shawn0712's picture

I believe something to really consider is binding affinity. Tren has a 5:1 binding affinity to test. High test tends to leave more test floating around to be converted. Deca has a 2:1 affinity. Tren will bind first, leaving deca unbound, and test unbound at an even higher rate than normal. Unbound compounds left to float around in the system convert more readily. Most antiagonists and estro blockers don’t stop conversion, they block the reception of them. So how useful would it really be?
I’m not speaking from experience. I’ve never had the desire to try the two together. They’re both as powerful as the diet that’s followed. And maybe my perception is off, but that’s my perspective/ understanding of how it works.

Makwa's picture

I'll say this about using 2 19N which is why I don't use them together. Nandrolone I need high test to avoid sides, tren I need low test to avoid sides. Combine them together and what test dose I use to avoid sides? Get my drift. It just becomes an unpleasant cycle riddled with combating sides that is completely unneccessary for me. I can have a more effective cycle depending on my goals if ran separately. To many people get caught up in the novelty of doing it i think but don't really seem to have a clear goal in mind or are relying way to much on the chemicals in the first place

Boom!

JARHEAD2's picture

It’s double your trouble is why it’s advised against. When talking two 19nors, majority of the time it’s Tren & Deca being discussed. Taking either of these two separate is not a beginners cycle & can lead to multiple negative sides.
Any 19nor cycle is not for beginners & a cycle involving 2 19nors is definitely an advanced cycle. Do people do it? Yes. The reason it isn’t discussed in open forum as far as being advisable is because it is an advanced cycle. The reasoning behind this type of cycle should be competing IMO & even then it should be considered advanced. There’s too many knuckle heads around here who would take that & run with it. As a matter of fact, I’ve seen one OP asking for dosing info for this cycle as a first cycle. Smh
So, these types of cycles have there place & time & for the most part behind the scenes of open forum.

TrenAllDay's picture

I can agree with that, using 1 19nor is geared towards the advanced user and both no regular gym enthusiast would need. But as mentioned before taking both won’t cause quadruple the problems of just 1

JARHEAD2's picture

It may be hard to comprehend, but each 19nor compound has a different effect on the body although they share the 19nor. Also taking into consideration that different people react differently to compounds, it is these two factors that the evidence is based upon. When I say evidence, I mean from experienced users who have taken 2 19nors. For example, Tren has always been good to me & I’ve had very few negative sides. Although, no 2 tren cycles have been the same. For me, Deca is much harsher on my body & the negative side effects must be combated unlike Tren. When you take into consideration that no 2 cycles are alike & both compounds react differently to each person, this alone produces more risk. In addition, recovery has proven to be more challenging.

TrenAllDay's picture

No, it’s pretty easy to comprehend. And you are giving personal experience from using 1 or the other, have you used both together?

JARHEAD2's picture

I didn’t mean that negatively towards you brother!! I just meant I maybe don’t explain it the best. I have used both Tren & Deca, so I can speak from experience as far as the difference in reactions to my body. I tried running NPP with Tren E for a few weeks & felt like crap so I dropped it. That was the very reason I chose NPP instead of Deca so I could drop it fast if need be. I was having no negative side effects from the Tren E & had been on cycle for a good while, & I decided to experiment a little. I didn’t pull bloods at that point, but I knew what the culprit was.

TrenAllDay's picture

All good I got ya haha. There we go some personal experience +, both combined made you feel like shit and it wasn’t practical for you to continue. That’s all I was getting at, people going off heresay but no actual experience.

Solidly's picture

Bringing the body back to normal seems to be more difficult with the use of 19-N's. Also there is the added problem of prolactin. The exact experience will differ some person to person. However as a whole you are stacking the deck against yourself when you use 2 19-N's together. You make the possibility of complications of some kind more likely. For what? If your using trenbolone there should be no goal you can't achieve WITH a proper diet, training routine, and rest. Now if your getting ready for an IFBB show and every little thing matters and counts for or against you maybe all the risk would be worth it. Maybe im way behind. Tell me why exactly you would run 2 of those together. What goal or benefit is obtained by them that I can't get with a cycle that doesn't have as many problems to plan for?

Edit: I personally don't use Tren. I've found after comparing results I can do anything with EQ that I can with Tren. Provided I have patients and a stellar diet. The results don't come as fast as with Tren but I don't have to deal with any side affects and i seem to keep strength gains off cycle a lot longer.

I see that now. Maybe he will take something positive away from this and not even realize it. You never know....man you were right its a lot different around here than it used to be. Lots of vets missing.

If no one disagreed or questions anything, what’s the point of this place? You can go ahead be a robot and walk in line with everyone else, but I’m going to step out and ask why.

TrenAllDay's picture

How about using a 19nor and HGH together? Both cause a heavy rise in prolactin (depending on amount as always) so do you advise against using those 2 compounds together and is that pure stupidity is someone does combine them?

Solidly's picture

The rise in prolactin that comes with a dose within what would be effective range in both 19"s compared to the rise with what would be the same type of dosage in hgh are not the same. Also like I stated above there are other issues involved with combining 2 19's. So no using a 19 and hgh is not the same at all.

In a promo × 2
TrenAllDay's picture

What would the rise be from 2 19nor and whats the rise from hgh+19nor?

TrenAllDay's picture

That’s all speculation and the “added problem of prolactin” you most likely read on the Internet somewhere, no offense. I’m not saying I would use them both, I never have, I’ve never even used deca, I’m just pointing out that there is no actual evidence that using both is any worse than using just one.

Solidly's picture

A lot of what I know I learned from research on the web. But I didn't just get the idea of the prolactin issue from a site and run with it. Yes I have been ignorant enough to run 2 19's together. I've done a lot of other things that caused more problems than they were originally worth. You say you haven't done it and your not sure you would. Im confused..because your advocating it weather you mean to or not. There have never been any scientific studies recorded where aas or hgh compounds were used for the strict purpose of building muscle for physical enhancement. They all were intended for other purposes. So we apply what data we can to our use of them, then through careful trial and error we learn. We share what we've learned and combine our experiences to better understand what works. We also learn from our own mistakes and the mistakes of others as we share those to. I don't understand your position on this issue based on what you've posted. Unless your just into debating. So all good I guess.

+2..... risk vs reward isn’t in the concept of these younger folks. 20 yrs from now when their endo system & possibly thyroid is all jacked up, they will regret after looking in a mirror what they’ve done to themselves. AAS use can be rewarding when used cautiously & responsibly. It can also be very harmful when abused & used irresponsible! Nice reminder brotha

Solidly's picture

I should have mentioned the cavalier use of T3...that is another one that's gotten crazy lately.
