Alphamale500Now you're really going for a real stretch bro!! You sound angry too bro, why? This is my protocol, not yours. Was I trying to challenge anything you said in your comment? No. And I believe that this was the exact statement I made regarding my vitamin and supplement use, which didn't even include anything about AAS:
"I'm in perfect health, always have perfect bloodwork, and I haven't even had a cold in over 20 years!"
And those are 100% true facts. However, I will in fact say that I'm not "under any delusion" and AAS users may be able to offset certain side effects with the use of some particular vitamins and/or health supplements! You should know, and I know you do, that using various supplements is actually a big part of bodybuilding and AAS use, and has been for so many years. In fact, they have such a big and popular role that supplements has it's own section here on Eroids!
So if anyone here is being delusional, I'd have to say it's you! And let's cut the bullshit. You know damn well that practically everyone who uses AAS, have some sort of their own daily vitamin and supplement protocol, so stop trolling alright! Did you happen to miss all of the other members that listed their daily supplement protocols too? So cut the shit bro. I didn't say anything for you to get your panties in a bunch over.
Would you like me to show you how supplementing with certain vitamins and/or supplements can benefit AAS users? Or how these supplements can "potentially offset or help with certain side effects" caused by using AAS? Because I can write an entire post proving and backing these claims with many scientific studies, articles and information to back them up. But I don't see a need to, because you know this is just common knowledge and all your doing is trolling. Idk why.
Why am I not surprised that you replied? Maybe because you are pretty much a carping shrew. You HAVE to have the last word. That has been evidenced by all of your posts across many forum topics. Whatever mate - I really don't give a flying fuck what you do, or what you believe, or what you take....btw - I didn't bother reading your extensive and no doubt mind-numbing diatribe because I have better things to do, like pick my nose and scratch my arse. You over-rate both yourself and your opinion. You have been here 1 year and no pics - post up a few pics of yourself - not just gear, and let's see how good you look for all the shit you take and all the crap you talk. You won't because you are a wanker. 'Alphamale'? Pppfftt! More like Alfalfa Male. Have a great weekend..or not - again - I don't give a fuck...run along now...your mama's calling.
Alphamale500You're absolutely correct!
+1
Good to see you took criticism like a man. +1. Post up some pics and I will plus them too...but somehow.....I don't think that will happen..but...meh. I have already moved on - it's not really important in the scheme of things. Have a safe and Merry Christmas bro..
Merry Xmas to you too Oz my man!! Hope you are keepin it real out there with the Steaks & wine :-))
Funny you should mention steak and wine, just had a piece of Canadian Angus Sirloin and a bottle of Australian Merlot last night....life is tough sometimes - have a great Xmas mate.
I can a least leave the hair supplements out:)
Damn dude. I thought I was bad. Lol
What color is your poop?
Alphamale500Perfectly normal color! Nice and soft, but not too soft, goes down easy, lol! Also, since I added the digestive enzymes, I no longer have to use the wooden ladle to break it up. I was able to put the ladle right back in the kitchen drawer!!
Have you tried food? ...Tastes better
Alphamale500Lol, I eat very well. Even with my food, everything is portioned out correctly, and I don't consume too much sugar, saturated fat, sodium etc. For a long time now, I've been a very regimented guy with virtually all aspects of my life. Maybe something I picked up in the army, idk.
My gut would be destroyed with all that stuff,,
Alphamale500Well, with the digestive enzymes, probiotics and how I take them with a large meal and plenty of water, the only thing I feel is some excess gas at times. But I think that's likely from the Inulin soluble fiber that I take.
That’s a badass list brother and I feel the same the more I add the better I’ve been feeling there defiantly staples to this lifestyle
Alphamale500I'm not advising other ppl to do the same, but this is how I use them and I'm in the best shape and health of my life. And like I said, I haven't had a cold, the flu, a sore throat, or anything in 21years. I actually remember the last time I was sick, and that's how many yrs ago it was. Granted, there's a few supps on my list which I can do without, and I actually might take a few off. But I'm just going by what my body's telling me and showing me.
I think ur fine man if ur putting in the time to do the research sounds like uk what you’re doing I actually make probiotics for a living so it’s cool to see people utilizing them
Alphamale500Oh, you actually make probiotics? Of course I'm not asking you to name it, but do you work in a fairly large company? The reason I asked, is I just want to know if these companies really follow strict manufacturing processes? Sounds like a cool job.
Wow! You take all that daily? Hey man if its working for you....right on
Alphamale500Thks bro! I'd definitely say it's working.
Multi
Vit c
NAC
Lecithin
Psyllium husk
Vit d3 with k2 in the winter
Zinc
Fish oils
Electrolytes in the summer
I’ve tried a lot of things and I’ve found these supplements make a difference you can actually feel, apart from the multi vitamin and NAC as it’s relatively new.
Alphamale500What form if zinc are you taking? I've been thinking of changing the Chelated zinc I take to zinc orotate, which I've read has a great bioavailability rate. Possibly the best.
Multi
Vit C
Vit E (antioxidant)
Fish oil
Milk Thistle
Fiber (~10g additional to diet)
Saw Palmetto when I am drinking >1.5 gal water per day (helps with needing to pee at night)
Protein powder
ECA before workout
Clen upon waking during cut/recomp cycles
Alphamale500Nice supplements! You like the ECA stack and clen? Those two together would probably give me a heart attack! But hey, if it works for you that's all that matters.
BCAA’s and a good diet
Caffeine, chicken, veggies, sometimes steak and burgers. Cherries, grapefruit, and bananas. Sweet potato's etc. No synthetic vitamins for me I don't like pissing my money away. If I did I would drink again
If you are training hard you are eating hard. If you are not getting all the vitamins and bcaas and minerals you need just from every day eating, you are not doing it right at all. All the synthetics vitamins you take are found in a well balanced diet.
Alphamale500I respect that. It really comes down to what really works the best for each of us. Btw, how many bananas do you eat each day, or week?? I usually eat 2-3 bananas per day. What do you think about that amount? Just curious
If you are taking a multivitamin and eating 3 bananas a day, you are over the amount of potassium in a day.
Multi vitamins and supplements work very good if you are in a calorie deficit or fasting because your body may or may not get enough. Taking multiple supps but eating 4-5k calories of quality food you are getting EVERYTHING your body needs.
When doing macros or counting calories you look at labels, those labels tell you the percentage of a vitamin or vitamins of a 2k calorie diet. Eating 4k or more you can see how you can easily go over 150-200% just in food alone.
Google vitamin poisoning. It's some crazy shit.
Alphamale500I was just wondering how many bananas you eat, since I seen you mentioned bananas. Actually, the most popular adult multivitamins only provide a very small amount of potassium. For instance, a regular Centrum adult multivitamin like I take, only provides 80mg of potassium, which is just 2% of our daily value.
But putting daily value aside, the average adult should be taking in 4,700mg of potassium daily. And one average sized banana contains about 420mg. So 2-3 bananas @420mg each, is only 1,260mg. And if you add the 80mg from the multivitamin, that still only comes to 1,340mg. So, 3 bananas including the multivitamin still only adds up to roughly 30% of how much potassium an adult should consume daily. And in my case, the remaining potassium comes from the food I eat.
I understand exactly what you're saying about counting calories correctly, and I totally agree with you. I always count, and recount the total amount of macros/micros that I consume daily. My daily protocol contains mostly health supplements and not vitamins. But vitamin poisoning/toxicity is a very serious and potentially deadly issue, your absolutely correct. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to argue with you in any way. I respect you, and I've seen your very knowledgeable comments.
+1

I don´t like plant supplements (e.g. rhodiola, tumeric, garlic ect.) that much because they interfere with CYPs (metabolizing enzymes in the liver) and can mess up sensitivities and dosages of the drugs we all take by either inhibiting or inducing these enzymes
