Cycle timing
ad
Just to get a discussion going, do you guys feel that you should "max out your natural ability" before starting your first cycle? By this i mean, get your lifts as heavy as possible, exhaust all resources (nutrition and program wise), and then start your first cycle? Or is it ok to start before you have maxed out your natural ability? I realize that this is somewhat of a loaded question as there are many variables, i am just interested for in general.

Using gear before you've hit your natural limit is just substituting it for a good diet and hard work. I only think you should use it to surpass your genetic limit.
This is somewhat relevant: http://www.weightrainer.net/bodypred.html
Use it to determine if you should cycle or not.
tread-mMax out first on "A diet for building" if that is your goal. As long as you achieve without gear then gear is pointless.
X2 all the way on this with you brother.
If anything whilst on a cycle is not working the way it was planned ALWAYS revert back to these initial learnings to pull everything back in line, everything we learn natty will pay us back ten fold during a AAS cyle.

X4 lol I'll hope on this bandwagon. It just worries me when I see guys getting into this with sub optimal lifts. I dont wanna sound cocky but you gotta REALLY work your ass off in the gym for years, mess with diets, routines, rest, etc and really exhaust those before you get on. This is my opinion but jeeze, guys gettin on when the have been lifting for under a year, it just seems like takin the easy way out.
