Cycle Addition Rec. for Arthritis/Joint Support

ad

Hey all -- looking for some insights and experiences on any support you've added into cycles to help support healing/pain reduction from old injuries.
I'm a 32 year old guy, 5'8" 170-180 depending on the week. Have low body fat (always been pretty lean), diet & nutrition are good, lifting in the gym 3-4 times weekly.

I've run test cycles, npp/deca cycles (w. test, of course), and most recently added winstrol to the end of cycle (from a test/npp/deca mix I was taking). All have been good for strength + build, but trying to add something into next cycle that would be even more supportive to any type of healing/joint fluidity in the joints that aren't bone on bone so far..

I know Winny was known for sandpaper joints -- didnt have any negative sides from this. I've tried peptides in the past, which were moderately effective, but very temporary. Any ideas you all have in additions I can make to a future test cycle (hgh, maybe?) that could assist with any remaining healing for the joints that have cartilage left in them. Being 32, active & in pain consistently is fucking killing me, so any ideas are HUGELY appreciated.

Michael

You can try supplements as an addition or instead:

I. Glucosamine sulfate

It is a part from which your body builds your joints and their fluid. It helps repairing damages done to said parts and also slow the degradation. So it fights Arthritis in the long run. No immediate effects on short time usage.

Costs: Cheap

Dosage: around 1 g ED

II. Chondroitin

Great in combination with Glucosamine. Works in a smiliar manner, very good at repairing / protecting joint cartilage. So it fights Arthritis in the long run. No immediate effects on short time usage.

Costs: Affordable

Dosage: 500 - 750 mg ED

III. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane)

Its a special kind of sulfur and gives the body (in a healthy way) sulfur which is used for building all kind of enzymes. To be short - it can reduce pain from inflamed joints and tendons and by reducing the inflamation in these parts. Good anti inflamation abilities in general. Great in combination with the first two ones. Also quite cheap ;)

Costs: Cheap

Dosage: 1 - 2 g ED

Cissus quadrangularis extract

It's a plant which is famous in Asia and Africa for it's general healing properties. In this context, it helps by reducing pain and the swelling in joints caused by Arthritis and inflamation of joints. There are even human studies which support this effect. Works in a matter of weeks.

Costs: Affordable

Dosage: Around 1 g ED (2 g possible and safe)

You can buy it as powders and mix it for yourself or buy pre mixed blends (which will be much more costly eventually)

Hope it helps. It's a different route besides steroids, peptides and such for pain relief and preserving (joint) health.

For me it works and absolutely worth the money. If you buy all the ingredients as powders, even a full stack will cost you around 100 EUR a year

I've tried the BPC & TB approach, which helped for a good amount of time tbh-- but might be time to revisit again... I'll check this along with NPP (which I found to be best for the lube factor, even though the bloating I wasn't too hyped about..) Everything seems like it'll be best for moderate levels, slim sides & still get benefits, even if not at the normal level. Thanks.

Slippery slope for sure, lifting hard and heavy without doing more damage is kinda hard to do. True Arthritis needs attention to mobility, anti inflammatory diet, no more dry compounds, and a modified (for the older folks) style of lifting or working out.

Spinal stenosis and botox as a treatment recently were talked about here with some decent information. Might want to search that.

I have been to so many doctors and not a single one of them has mentioned this to me -- thank you SO much. This seems like it's a far better approach than the nerve burning approach, which is helpful at times, but if it's not exact, it just flares and never comes down (a big part of my pain spike in the past months). Nonetheless, I''m in a big city now so found a few people to reach out to -- again I appreciate it. i've modified pretty heavily to be more on the mild workout levels for upkeep and strength, but not the extreme things that I've done in the past.. Granted, its not necessarily in my DNA -- babysteps... allll babysteps.. preciate the help!

No problem brother, I always try and help where I can. My 75 year old mother suffers from spinal stenosis and arthritis pretty bad. Hope this helps or atleast allows you a new direction to research!

I have gone to many doctor's for treatment - unfortunately arthritis being what it is, there's no real viable option for treatment (until I reach the age of replacement -- and I'm too young for replacement). Main sites of the pain are in the cervical spine & shoulder, both of which I've seen doctors for throughout my lifetime (4 shoulder sx on the right, one on left & continuous facet steroid injections for c-spine & recent ablation procedures). I've been prescribed muscle relaxers @ night, but I myself work in medicine so actual pain treatment (for chronic pain) isn't a viable option since my brain function needs to be in tact daily.

End goals for cycles are more for energy, recovery, and generalized (average) stats. Not competing -- so it's more for general mobility, strength, and day-to-day function. Always running at lower range doses (TRT type doses + normo/hypo levels for NPP/Deca & winstrol). Have considered HGH -- but haven't found continuous support for injury recovery, nor any support for chronic symptoms being diminished from use (not to mention HUGE expense + sides that have been recorded from use) -- so, was hopeful someone might have similar history + some kind of benefit they noted from taking ________.

If you are in that much pain I would seek the advice of a doctor. They might be able to set you up with something for your arthritis and pain.
