"Carb Work" question

ad

Been seeing that phrase a lot around here. What is the general rules for clean bulking as far as manipulating carbs go. I have beenfairly successful in the past gaining weight but not so much when trying to gain clean muscle. I really want to understand this before running my first cycle.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the input. Over the past month I have been trying to drop some body fat in preparation of cycle. Eating fewer carbs is how i have been doing it along with HIIT cardio. It is working. My main reason for my original post is information on cleaning up my upcoming bulk. I dont want to gain mostly fat on this cycle.

Thanks again for the replys

objective during lean bulk is to gain the muscle with minimal fat gain. myo's idea works well for many guys. i would also advise tapering down your calorie intake throughout the day too. don't eat many carbs before you go to bed.
i personally need a bit more carbs to gain any weight tho

No need for low carb. Just keep Glymic Load low... so your blood sugar will stay stable. Eat a lot of complex carbs. And don't eat any sugar when your carb intake is high. Eat everything as pure as possible.. no processed food. And keep your fat intake around 20-30% with saturned, unsaturned, omega 3 and omega 6 in the right proportions. Also watch your natrium intake for water balance in your body. Because you need it, but to much will raise your bloodpressure when on cycle. Thats is a clean and healthy bulk in my opionon.
